Has anyone been able to snag an iPhone X for pickup at a verizon store? I am Wanting to just grab one outright like I did with my 8, but if I ordered online I’d lose my current agreement that I have now.

Do you know, if your order was placed thru your business, if you get a shipping notification from Verizon to your on file email? I’m able to log into my acct and see the device showing delivered by date of 12/6.

If there was an issue with order they’d email right? Mine is still “processing” when i check order status and shows 12/1 ship date. A reddit user who ordered on the 7th just had theirs ship and it had a date of 12/13. Makes me hope nothing is wrong with my order.
Yes, you should get an email if there’s an issue.

Mine still says processing too, that reddit user just got lucky.

Any other 12/6 shipping dates get shipping info?

Mines still dead in the water. No CC charge, no removal of shipping date on vzw; istocknow.com is showing 2 Apple stores in the U.S. with stock on the Verizon SG 256. Perhaps the supplies on that phone are trickling in at this point.

Same here. My ship date is 12/6. No movement. I ordered x2 of the 256 SG thru Verizon on Device Payment Plan. Ordered on Oct 27th at 7:30AM.

After going back-and-forth, I decided to not get the X this go-round as my 6S Plus was still doing everything I needed. However, my phone was swimming the the pool this weekend and is completely unresponsive. Therefore, I now feel guilt free about getting the X. The problem is that until I can get one I'm phone less, which doesn't really work. In the past, I've generally just stalked Apple's website looking for shipments to come in and pretty much got it on the first day I was checking. I don't see a lot of recent posts about people doing this. Have shipments been going to stores on a pretty regular basis?

istocknow.com shows stock of phones at Apple stores across the country...i use the live map function and then select the product I'm looking for. I've also been checking Apple.com regularly for my phone and my local store hasn't seemed to get much stock on the phone I'm looking for. Specifically the Verizon SG 256MB phone. Apple Store has received the 64MB phone a time or two. I also stop at my local Verizon store from time to time, just to see if they might have it in stock, with no joy. Its been tough to find that particular model since most are going to fulfill pre-orders and demand is highest on that model. However, the stock seems to update every few days with new shipments coming into the U.S. So you never know...just gotta keep checking.

Anyone ever had their tracking information on the Verizon website listed as "ZEROPICK" and a courier of "SHP999" before? If I click on the tracking link, it launches Fedex but can't find the order. It was supposed to have shipped last week and the website just updated today to the above. My previous chats with Verizon have not resulted in finding anyone who actually knows what's going on and they are currently "all busy assisting other customers".

Didn’t have any intention of getting the X. Thought it was too expensive for a phone but I’m an Apple fanboy so I couldn’t resist. Only took me probably 3-4 days to finally solidify a pickup order through the Apple website. It was actually really easy. I normally pre order around 3 am here in NY. But doing the pickup, if you go on the website at the right time (bright and early) you might get lucky. I was on my way to work in the subway and multiple stores at that time had stock up for grabs. It was a Sunday by the way. At first I couldn’t believe it actually worked and a device was waiting for me already paid for. Walked into the store. Showed them my ID and order number. They presented me with a shiny SG 64GB. Had the 128GB iPhone 7 and only used about 20GB so this size works for me.

I originally wanted the Silver model but when I tried to check it out it must’ve already been purchased. You definitely need to be quick and have Apple Pay already set up. It’s truly the best. Oh yea and this phone is totally worth it. Face ID is far from being a gimmick.

Most of the places that get the X seem to be the east and west coasts. Out here in flyover country the Apple website only shows 3-4 weeks delivery. I just checked the 12 stores closest to me in Cincinnati, which includes Indianapolis, Dayton, Columbus, Louisville, and Toledo all show the same thing. What little stock comes in seems to go to the mega-cities like Chicago, Seattle, NY, etc. Not saying it can't happen...but hasn't seemed to happen since the initial stocks were exhausted right after launch.

BTW, no movement on my SG 256, ordered 10/27 at noon-ish Eastern-time either. If it doesn't come soon I shall be very put out.

Mine is stuck in Memphis, TN it seems. When I track from the UPS page it still shows delivery for this Wednesday, however, when I go through the Verizon site it shows that my package is delayed and doesn't give me a delivery date. I'm wondering if I should be worried since the UPS page still shows delivery on 11/15.

Something else I find odd is that it shows Memphis as my origin city. My package didn't even start in China, Korea, Anchorage, or Louisville. It started in Memphis and has stayed there since this morning.

So no one has seen them available in Verizon stores? I'm going to maybe luck out on Friday.
