For a start as drugs! has said read the first couple of posts again, also how can you not see the difference, watch it for a fourth time and try and do the things in it with stacks on your machine, notice you can't; ergo it is different.

Refer to my first post. Although not demonstrated by apple, it previews features included in stacks. I am not a programmer, but the stacks previewed in that youtube link seems to be working fine. Either way, i never argued why apple took it out. Im arguing that the stacks previous functionality was perfect and that it should be reinstated.

Come on man, lets talk about irrelevant microsoft facts some more

Unless Apple demo'd it I am not even going to acknowledge a video shown on Youtube. Stacks was introduced for the first time to the public by Apple during WWDC and that video is still on Apple's website. That day the developers got their final Developer Preview which is the same version that was demo'd. No other version hit the streets. That demo of Stacks from Apple is what we have now in the retail version so don't tell me that Stacks was misrepresented. You are nuts if you are trying to create falsehood about Apple removing features on Stacks. Anything shown on Youtube different than what was on the WWDC video from Apple is a mod. Get over it.

It was actually on the Leopard preview page before it was released. This is why people think stacks is crap because they marketed it as being much more useful. After Apple stated Leopard would be delayed till October the page changed to reflect the changes they made. Hence problem.

Obviously I can't prove this as the original page is now gone.

[edit]
Here's proof.

They didn't market Stacks as being anywhere on the dock but as you can see you could just drag a group of applications and have it make a stack.

someone post this video in the main mac rumors page

How would one aggressively reach out to apple to hopefully patch stacks in a future update?

For what ever reason they took it out. Either they wanted to work on it more or did not think people would want it. Either way it would most likely be a long time coming. I guess you could always leave them feedback:
