I have an iPhone 3G. It's more yellow than my 1st gen iPod Touch. But you know what? THe yellow is more accurate, when compared to my profiled monitor. I'm not saying there isn't a defect, but people are too used to the overly blue/green tints on monitors.

My 16gb Black 3GS, which I ordered from the online Apple Store on June 17 arrived today from Shenzen, China. It has the same, nice, blue screen of my original iPhone. I am very pleased.

I guess it can be a personal preference. I find the standard blue tone of screens to be unpleasing and inaccurate.

Apple should just let people set their own white point and make everyone happen. Geez.

Everyone has their screen turned all the way up and auto off when comparing, right? Some of these side by side pics look really dark. My 2G is definitely blue compared to the 3GS, but the ambient lighting and brightness on the 3GS makes things seem more or less yellow. I usually keep my screen at 50% on auto and am happy.
