Well that sucks, was looking forward to seeing this one. Granted I wasn't going to see in the theater, and I am glad I didn't now. Oh well.

Here is another one:

"Man of Steel"

Yes to me it was that bad!

Man of Steel, i thought it had some good parts but overall it kind of faded into noise for me.

I forgot to mention..Cloud Atlas. I'm pretty sure I had multiple brain aneurysms watching that movie.

Heh, to each his own - - Cloud Atlas is one of my favorite films of the past decade - - a masterpiece in the art of cinema.

So name the worst movie you've ever seen.
Criteria? I leave that up to you. Make it as subjective as you like.
"Bad" really depends not only on personal tastes, but contextual circumstances.

For example here's my reason it's bad, then the movie:
  • Bad because it annoyed the **** out of me and the power went out twice during the screening - Fargo.
  • Bad because I couldn't conceive of the premise actually working - Divergent
  • Bad all around - Kull the Conqueror
  • Bad because I was just not prepared for some of the stuff that went on in this movie - Visitor Q

Then there are the bad movies I wouldn't have enjoyed unless watching with friends... mostly B movies like

There are many personal tastes too... some I disagree with:
Zombieland - so bad I couldn't finish watching it.
While at first I thought it was rather tame, what saved the movie for me was the whole Bill Murray thing for me... just wondering if you made it that far.

I watched The French Connection for the first time the other day. I have no idea why that gets so many excellent reviews, but not the worst movie I've ever seen.
I think movies from the 60's and 70's have to be judged on a different perspective... they just had a different pace to them, and some aged better than others.

Some I agree with ...
Cool as Ice (Vanilla Ice)

I only saw about 20 minutes of this when I was like 12 but even so, it was beyond awful.
Yeah up till a few minutes ago I had completely forgotten that movie now I'm stuck with faint memories... if I get drunk tonight I'm blaming you! :)

The last movie I watched by the way was the full length "Metropolis". Long but worth a look at the early stage of cinema and what had to have been mindblowing FX for the day.

I agree. It was a decent movie, but all the praise and the 1971 oscar...I don't think so. I mean just look at the movie that came out the very next year which set the standard for gangster flicks..The Godfather

I pretty much dislike all horror movies. I just don't get why someone would like watching them.

"Open Water" was bad enough to become a family joke.

Now, the worst move ever thoroughly enjoyed was "Santa's Slay".
It must have been one of those very strange nights...

:d

Of course The Room needs the obligatory, honorable mentioning as the citizen kane of the garbage movies.
Despite the insane add campagne, worldwide viewings and 6M$ budget I wouldn't even consider that a proper movie.

Watched it last week together with friends as a drinking game. That movie was so bad that it turned hilarious!

Sharknado on the other hand, oh boy. Nothing makes sense, and the consistency between shots is so poor that you just throw your hands in the air and say "screw this". It's as if a 10 minute sequence was shot in every kind of weather and then mixed up good just for the hell of it, like they didn't even try.

The room tries. It tries really really hard. And that's why it's so hilarious.
