The Devil's Rejects. Tough movie to watch. Cruel, torture porn. Makes Saw series appear tame. Directed by Rob Zombie. One reviewer said it well: It’s creation of a strong sense of ambiguity as to who we are supposed to sympathize with- who are the antagonists and the protagonists?

I just remember when they took the woman's husband somewhere and she was worried what was going to happen. She was momentarily relieved when she saw him appear at the door. But no, it was one of the bad guys wearing her husband's face that they'd apparently skinned off of his skull; the bad guy laughing as the face fell away to the ground.

I remember seeing that as a younger person. Very messed up. I haven't seen any Zombie films since since that one, and I don't plan on it. That sort of stuff isn't for me.

The worst movie I have seen recently (worst movies always seem like the worst you ever saw, at the time), was The Interview. After all the political turmoil, it appeared on Netflix. After 10 minutes, I started to fast-fast forward, sampling along the way. As far as I could tell, worthless from beginning to end.

Not too long ago, a guy approximately my age (that is, not young) convinced me to watch "Faster Pussycat, Kill Kill," a Russ Meyer flick from 1965.

It was never meant to be anything much, but my friend was pushing it as a great period piece.

It was so, so, so bad. I can get into ragging on a bad movie, but this one was so boring and poorly made and had so much wrong with it . . . ugh.

Recently I also had to endure "Auntie Mame," which to me was a stage production crudely translated into a film. I'll bet the stage production was great. The film sucked.

Is it because he is[sic] helped bring Band of Brothers to air? ...Or any of the other educational documentaries he's worked on?[/QUOTE]
BOB is a documentary now?

I've seen plenty of bad movies over the years, but the most recent absolute stinker was Interstellar - - what a steaming pile that was!

There is plenty of movie threads, but I couldn't find one about the worst movie.

So name the worst movie you've ever seen.
Criteria? I leave that up to you. Make it as subjective as you like.

I'll start with saying that for me it's a close call between Peter Jackson's King Kong and David Fincher's Benjamin Button.

I would award the golden rasberry to King Kong because Jackson takes 1 hour to build characters, just to then torment the viewer with 1 hour of monsters fighting monsters and then another hour a monster fighting humans, of course never returning to the characters that were built in the first hour.
It took me two days to sit through this.

The Unnameable..... and how shocked do you think I was when I saw that somebody felt the need to make The Unnameable II.... It was truly hideous.

Tiny Furniture.

I've never been happier that I could stream movies and that I didn't have a DVD to return than I was when I walked away from that thing.

Really????

It was terribad! Such potential for a great movie with that subject matter and Nolan just completely botched it. Sure, there's worse C-budget movies, but I calculate in my expectations too. Interstellar was easily the worst movie I've seen in a decade.
