McCarver must have some serious blackmail material on the Fox execs for him to keep coming back year after year, he is one of the worst sports announcers ever (he can't even get player's names right half the time.)
The same also applies to Joe Buck so you can imagine what I nightmare it is when they are combined for the world series.

I 100% agree. Remy and Orsillo are the best announcers in baseball.

McCarver mentioned someone in the Red Sox bullpen pitching in fron of Papelbon last night.
Did he even read the box score? One of the big(-ish) stories was that Okajima closed it out. I really ****ing don't like Tim McCarver.
Anyways, 7 k's is pretty good against that lineup. Not a great start, but it was certainly enough. Props to the bullpen.

It should be a decent matchup. But if you look at who Matsuzaka pitched against (KC, SEA, and TOR) the partially potent offense there is Toronto. Wright is probably going to struggle, but I wouldn't be shocked if Dice-K got roughed up by the powerful Yankees offense.
