Sweet Caroline is actually played during the seventh inning stretch. Dirty Water is played at the end of the games....

noooo

Sweet Caroline is played in the middle of the 8th.

Dirty Water is played after victories.

A-Rod Becomes the fastest player to hit 14 home runs in the month of April.

Nobody cares about April.

Wait until you yankees fans are booing him in October again.

Most likely. :)

At this pace he's gonna have over 80 home runs.

Statistically, yes, but realistically, no. This will not last forever (but one can hope!). I see him definitely in the running to break 61, which A LOT of people will see as breaking the record. He also can realistically break that 70 home run garbage record (or 71 or whatever it is).

Let's be honest here- t will be very, VERY interesting to see what happens when Bonds breaks the all time home run record this year (unfortunately) and if A Rod makes a run for breaking the single season record. Very, very interesting indeed. Selig would love it- mlb can pretty much just ignore the Bonds record and focus on Arod.

At this pace...doubtful. He'll never keep it up. If he knocks out 50 this year I'll be surprised. Why, because when it counts, he doesn't perform.

On a more serious note as a RedSox fan, I am worried about how the Sox did against a 3rd rate pitching staff. Barely winning. What happens when the Yankee starters return from the DL? I fully expected to sweep this series, winning games by at least 5-6 runs, not 1 or 2. If the offense doesn't pick up, the Sox are not going to fare well against those damn Yankees again.

Incorrect, at least this year. I'm no Arod fan, but the guy has done the opposite of what he used to- he IS producing when needed. I was at the game when Arod belted the walk off grand slam. He has also hit anothe rwalk off home run this year. Most of his home runs (this year) have come when they were down or when the game was very close.

Will he keep up with himself? I doubt it. Will he hit more than 50 home runs? I truely believe it will be cloer, if not more than, 60.

The only problem is MLB CAN'T ignore the breaking of the HR record. Try as they may to sweep it under the rug, it'll be the elephant in the room. :(

If they wait about 8 more years Arod will have the Home run record and they can forget about Bonds all together. I can see Arod pushing 800 as he is a lot younger and healthier then Bonds.

As a Sox fan, I dislike A-Rod. However, he is a great player and I'd like to him break the HR rather than Bonds and his steroids.

How about them Blue Jays really letting the Sox have it.:p At least when the Yankees lose the games are close.:D

:) I'd already marked the game down as a loss before it started, Blue Jays ace vs our fifth starter.

I was doubly happy because Carl Crawford is in my fantasy team, so that grand slam was nice.

Not a good sign when the Yankees' best pitcher gets the hook in the fifth.

Can they go for seven losses straight? :D

Maybe if they would get an ump to call the game right that inning would not of lasted that long.

I would not talk about best pitchers, yours gave up 4.:D
