you might want to use my iphone backgrounds also to keep the look the same across the theme, obviously you dont have to but i will upload them just in case.

here are the ipad backgrounds -

just make sure that when you go to your file:// config in safari you specify that you want SlantedLockiPad as the config file

thanks for the support!

I'm guessing there aren't that high of a demand for the iPad port.

Anyways, I edited the first post to include Leddhedd's iPad theme. :)

Ok guys, Im really loving this rotating wallpaper option we now have, very cool!

love the idea, hated the basic wallpapers.....so I took my fave retina wallpapers, and renamed them and made them sorta match the time of day....love it!

anyone wants this setup, just replace your ''slbkg24hr'' folder with this NEW one i made(its in the images folder)

love it, you guys rock!

EDIT: I guess i cannot upload such a large zip file....well here is a screenshot of how i renamed my retina wallpapers, you get the idea....how great to see my custom wallpapers come up each hour!

remember when you rename,each number coincides with 24hr clock(IE: 2.jpg=2am or 18.jpg=6pm)

If that's too big to zip and send, can you at least tell me where you found those beautiful retina wallpapers? I'd like to use them also!

scirica, none of the "Clear Lockscreen" choices on Cydia look like yours. Is your thin transparent slider from some other repository?

TIA, John

Hmmm, I think I found it here: http://www.macthemes.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=16805033

Mine is definitely called Clear Lockscreen iPhone 4. I just checked my winterboard themes and turned it back on to make sure it was the one. Funny thing is that theme in Cydia has a different look on the screen shot. I do remember seeing the thread you linked and that was my inspiration to find it. I could always send you my slider theme if you'd like. Should be a small file.

Thanks scirica. The above linked slider theme was the right one. I've modded it for more transparency, so best that I don't pull it from Cydia anyway.

Still don't see name "Clear Lockscreen iPhone 4" in Cydia...but whatev.

Have you gone into the iPhone settings to disable the lock clock?

Just a bump to let u guys know that I've just updated the package to version 1.5.4

Please see first post for details, changes and download link.

PS: You would want to update. It's a critical bug fix.

many of us have "customized" our look so an update will take me back to where it was before i did it.

can you just tell me which part of the update i actually need?....im hoping i can just replace one part and leave my css file alone.

im sure this question will be asked by many.

thanks!

You don't have to. That's one of the strengths of this theme. Backup your tweaked CSS file or name it something else.(just back up your customized css file to PC so you can restore it whenver) The layout and scripting framework are handled separately. I believe CSS files from version 1.5.2 and 1.5.3 should work in 1.5.4.

This is exactly the purpose of the "Style Sheet" option in the configuration menu. To allow you to create your own CSS layout and reuse it as later versions are released.

EDIT: If you had edited the weather files, you can keep those. Version 1.5.4 updates config.html and SlantedLock.js, so you can keep your modified weather files and CSS.

I'm not sure what the hell is going on. I saw there there was an update so I completely removed LockInfo through cydia, then double checked the theme was gone via SSH.... I installed the new version via the the link provided in post one, followed all the directions and I'm still getting a black screen.

I can get to the config file through mobile safari
I can see the unlock UI is working
I can see that clockhide is working

Loading the LockBackground.html on the computer works, doing it through mobile safari does not work. What the sweet jesus is going on?

Have you tried deleting the database and loading config again?

Yes. I even went so far to uninstall winterboard and all files associated with it, reloaded it and still the same thing. Its frustrating as hell because I had 1.5.2 working just fine, no problems whatsoever and this upgrade hosed the entire thing.

Hmm... Not sure what went wrong. The same package was used to successfully upgraded other users from 1.5.3, so I assume it's functional.

The theme is now in Cydia. Try removing it. Delete the database. Install it from Cydia. Load configuration. Turn it on in Winterboard. Respring. In that order.

EDIT: I just noticed that you mentioned coming from 1.5.2. The database has been changed since 1.5.3. When in doubt, back up your old CSS and use all new files. Then try replacing the CSS again.

I just reinstalled winterboard. So I'm going to download the package from cydia and try again. The database cache is long gone.

Ok so...

Removed all traces of slanted lock and winterboard
Installed winterboard
Installed slanted lock
loaded config file
turned it on winterboard (it was already turned on??)
respring
black screen

this is maddening.

The craziest part is I KNOW its partially loading because the lockui loads. But NONE of the background info, time, picture, weather, etc, loads at all.

If nothing is loading at all, then the database is either non-existant/incompatible.

At the very least, you should see a clock running.

EDIT: also, when I say database, I'm referring to: settings > safari > databases > SlantedLockCache
EDIT2: when you loaded config file, does it say v1.5.4 below the title?
EDIT3: It seems Cydia still has 1.5.3. weird. My modmyi account shows that my package has been updated to 1.5.4. Maybe wait a bit for Cydia to catch up?

Yea I know what database you were referring to. I have cleared it out and it has remade itself after reinstalling many times. And yes, it says 1.5.4 under it.

Not sure what the issue is, but it does sound like it's not getting through to the database. Have you tried rebooting the phone? Maybe that'll clear some cache.

Also, try waiting for Cydia to catch up. It's weird. I see the 1.5.4 change notes, but the files are still the old 1.5.3.

I've rebooted the phone dozens of times. haha

And yea I noticed that too. Is there any permissions issues with the database that you can think of or a directory that it is stored in that can cause an issue?

The theme itself doesn't write or create anything else outside of the database. Though, if you had installed via Cydia, it does keep track of the package and file it under the modmyi repository. However, I don't think that should have any effect on the theme itself...

I've been running on an SSH version as well. I'll do a clean install from Cydia to see if there are any issues.... as soon as Cydia updates...
