I would think LTE would be a game changer for most. Guess not

Not for me. Even a Netflix HD stream only needs 7 Mbps, and 3G easily delivers that, so I can't see a compelling reason why I would need anything faster on a phone. I won't be going out of my way to use and pay extra for LTE when my 5S arrives.
 
My 78 year old mom is using a 4S. It is her 1st smart phone and she loves it. Works very well for her purposes, as she doesn't need the latest and greatest. (I'm the one that wants to upgrade every year. LOL.)
 
I don't want to upgrade from my iPhone 4s, love the form factor and the functionality. There's nothing more a mobile phone has to have. And my contract already ended.

Funny but my son is saying the same about his 4S, still good and fast. I am kind of OK with 5, maybe I will get 5S but only because I would like to switch to Verizon out of AT&T. Too many dead spots for years around and AT&T doesn't improve anyhow. I am watching Samsung very close as well....
