There is really no point in getting any iPhone 6...

if you are going to end up buying a case for it.

For one, it's hideous no matter how nice you think the case looks. It destroys the look and feel of the iPhone. What's the point of choosing an iPhone color if it's going to be your case that determines the color of it?

Also, it nullifies the smooth rounded edges of the iPhone. Any case will ruin the feel and hold of the iPhone. If you appreciate the aesthetics of an iPhone and the form factor, why buy a case? It's only going to add layers of unwanted thickness.

You're pretty much using a Galaxy with iOS buy utilizing a case. Nobody would even know you're using an iPhone.

Lets keep it natural if you're going to be using an iPhone 6.
 
Since when is the "iPhone experience" only tied only to its exterior? There are many people who buy it for iOS, the app ecosystem, support and convenience. The fact that most users cover up the exterior itself proves that it's not high on everyone's priority to show off.

Really? Then how come everyone who owns an Apple product will say "Let me check my iPhone" instead of "Let me check my phone" or "It's on my Mac/Macbook" instead of "It's on my computer/laptop"?
 
Try as I might, I don't really understand the OP's point in starting this thread. I love the look and feel of my iPhone 6 - with or without case.

Maybe the people around you do that. It's just my phone, my computer... Definitely not "everyone".

Great thread! Did you ever think to imagine that most people want a good phone that works great? Unless your 17 yrs old you would understand that for most adults the functioning of the phone is more important than how it looks with or without a case.

To me it's a device nit a thing of beauty I must admire or feel so insecure I need people to come up to me and ask is the the 6?
I actually think the 5 and 5S is a much better looking phone.
Though the 4 is similar the size of the 5 compliments the style
 
Sorry to disappoint you 3lite but I love my Apple case. Love it.... So yeah phone not ruin at all

Nobody does that. People say "phone" and people also say "computer" rarely will someone say "iPhone" unless they are talking about different devices

So you think it looks horrible and therefor the person buying it that doesn't think it looks horrible has had their opinion now invalidated?

There are three colors, two of which are very different (black face versus white face). I suppose you could make the argument that the gold and silver backed phones look the same in a case.

Some cases added to comfort (lots of reports of the new phones being rather slippery) and some cases take away. It's up to the user to decide, really.

This may be shocking to you, but not everyone uses an iPhone so that everyone around them can know they are an iPhone user. They use an iPhone for various other reasons (such as the galaxy doesn't have iOS as an option).

I have responded in bold. It's sort of shocking how you took a bunch of your opinions, presented them as fact, and basically came out and said that regardless what anyone else things about cases, only you are right. Not sure who, exactly, you think you are.

I won't say I have never heard that phrase said, but I can't say it's been close to everyone. "Some" is a far more accurate word here, for me.
 
Have you looked at BestSkinsEver or InvisibleShield?
Apple's cases look nice too. As long as it is not some big case that adds double the thickness to it.
 
I doesn't matter if someone uses a case or not. Choice is up to everyone. I sometimes enjoy going caseless and other times I use a case. But I don't need people to see I'm using a iPhone to feel special.
