There Should be a Subforum for iPhone Complaints

I won't argue that point. But ultimately - who cares. Do you have to read the threads? Just skip over them. The second you start trying to censor based on topic preference, you get into the decision of where that line gets crossed. What if you don't want to read any threads about the camera. Or about GPS, or about (fill in the blank). You can argue it's different, or whatever. But at the end of the day it's the same. If you don't like a thread - don't click.

Well, it does matter because you can't even find anything else here when half the threads are about the same thing. This isn't censorship. If I wanted censorship I'd tell you not to post at all, not give you a dedicated space to do so :).

I'd be happy with a consolidated thread for iphone4 problems, just like all the other consolidated threads we have here: (1) basically every sticky, (2) Merged samsung galaxy / captivate android, (3) merged general discussion android v. iphone OS, just to name a few.

Putting all the complaints in one sub-forum, or one thread, would clean things up and make it easier to read everything :)
 
Ahh, got owned, apparently there was a thread about this before I made mine... But nobody ever sees it because its in this forum.

Why do the complainers get to clog the iphone forum with 50,000 posts that don't get consolidated and when we complain, our post gets consolidated into a forum nobody reads?

The ones who read this part of the forum are the mods and the administrators, who are the audience you were seeking, correct? In answer to your question, I think there’s too much to fix in the iPhone forums. You can help by reporting threads, and resisting the urge to bump the threads further by posting your frustrations in them. I know, it’s hard. At any rate, this will all die down in a month or so.

Well, both hoping you guys would make a subforum or merge the threads (like you did with this one), but also hoping to remind the trolls just how ridiculous it is to have 99% of the forum clogged with the same posts. But, I guess I forgot, you can't talk sense to trolls, right?

Point remains, this really needs to be fixed, its worthless to even go to the iphone forums anymore, there are 0 accessible worthwhile posts.

Actually this forum is one of the few forums that all the mods/admins read. It's kinda the point of this forum. :)

Just report it as per usual and somebody will look at it. If you've already reported it then somebody will get around to it eventually.
