I wish I could say I cared enough to be opinionated about this.
I just find iPhones to be drop dead boring now

Apple has botched this approach before, making something thinner for the sake of aesthetics while deprioritizing thermals, structural integrity, and to a smaller degree, hardware functionality. I’m not saying they can’t make a thinner phone that is great in all those other areas, but that historically Apple’s record on taking this approach has been somewhat of a mixed bag. They are definitely running the risk of going too thin too fast once again imo. Will definitely take thinner and lighter. Made a huge difference in the iPad Pro 13 over previous models. Love it!
Wish it was this year. Must be a bad year for iPhones if iPhone 17 rumors keep coming out.
To make Siri faster.🤣Faster chips so we can open up instagram faster? Lol
This! Why does it need to be thinner?!
Apple needs to stop this silly obsession over thinness, there is no reason for it, other than to show off it can be done.
Absolutely no one outside of Apple’s Campus is complaining their phone is not thin enough, most people put their phones in a case anyways, so no one even sees how thin it is. Thinner items are also more prone to bending / warping and are generally less durable!
There are many of us out there that would prefer it the phone be made slightly THICKER - as thick as camera bump is!
NO ONE except for Apple’s design team and people who happen to carry calipers around in their pocket would ever notice an extra 5mm in thickness!
EVERYONE would absolutely notice a higher capacity battery that could last DAYS not hours.
How cool would it be if you could go away overnight or for a weekend without having to remember to pack chargers and cables!
And with no bump, you could actually place the phone flat on a table or charging pad!
iPhone 12-16 you mean?I guess the iPhone 16 is gonna be a write off?
Once again:Why does it need to be thinner?!

They priced me out of the market. I was interested in the 13 Pro and upcoming 16 Pro but seeing as it'd be £1k+, it's just too much for a phone. I like iOS & things like spatial audio, which a cheap 64GB iphone 12 mini got me, plus a mini form factor.every new iphone release is the "most expensive phone to date". their prices on these things are just ridiculous! I remember buying my 4s for only a few hundred dollars, paid more than twice that for the 15PM
iPhone 12-16 you mean?
The fact that "faster chip" is part of the 5 features is ridiculous. That is the only upgrade we have gotten for 5+ years. No one gives a **** to open an app 0.000001 sec faster than a previous model. I'm not paying $1,200 for that nonsense.
As an android/Samsung user, fingerprint sensor is better on a button on the side of the phone. Under the screen isn't as fast and you have to look at the screen before pressing. What is the big deal about the under-the-screen fingerprint sensor? It seems a lot of people want it, but why?
Yes but we live in Ozempic era…I thought the days of making things thinner was over.
Only while the technology caught up. I don't mind thinner as long as it's not at the expense of performance and usability.I thought the days of making things thinner was over.
