Ok, but technically Apple's oldest product is the 2008 USB SuperDrive, which they still sell.

Completely agree. I actually don't want a camera, microphone or speakers on the XDR when I get one. I have the 30-inch Cinema and love that it doesn't have those things. On an iMac version? OK. But not on an XDR or other professional display.A lack of a camera and speakers is insignificant to professionals.
The 30" Apple Cinema display was released on June 28, 2004 and replaced but still sold on July 27, 2010. It's original retail was $3299 is 2004 dollars or $5,493.21 in 2024 dollars. I have 3 of them I picked up since 2020 for $200 each. Still great displays.
The XDR will be a great display for another 10 years.
Yes, but there are newer models. For these other devices, they are the most current model as old as they are.The Apple Pencil will be ten years old next year.
Hey, don’t mess with perfection. 😉
Have the one using batteries
How about we get a USB-C keyboard
To the AirPort idea, I will add in Time Capsule. Yes, I know there are other devices to use for Time Machine, but it was a slick device to encourage users to keep good backups. It is a pity that good old products are not sold: iPhone mini, wired mouse and keyboard, AirPort Extreme, <...>
Honestly, the bottom charging port isn't that bad in real usage, as battery life is good enough that the mouse only has to emulate a deceased rodent once in a long while. The low front and back edges would also have to go—or get a notch!—if the port were to move from the underside. I'd rather they toss in a few more gestures, like (a somewhat-cramped) pinch-to-zoom.and I still would not use another mouse. The mouse is not for everyone, but I have loved it from day one and anytime I have to use a regular mouse I immediately miss gestures on the Magic Mouse. They just need to fix that stupid bottom charging port.
I just had my last one die two weeks ago, We had three here one lasted two years the others went for ten and twelve.I am still using the magic mouse that uses 2 AA batteries which I bought ~2010. I keep thinking at some point I should update to a newer one, but the thing just keeps working so hard to give up on it. Thinking about it as I type this it is almost 15 years old! Insane
It’s the same product that does the same thing and is brand new. Why would you expect it to not be the same price?1,360 days old, and still listed at the same official MSRP as day one.
That's Apple.
Considering the inflation of the last few years, it's actually a good thing. It’s the same product that does the same thing and is brand new. Why would you expect it to not be the same price?
Me reading this on my 2 month old iPad MiniRecommendation: At this point, we suggest waiting for the new iPad mini that is rumored to launch later this year.

Can MacRumors also make a list of products that are still sold today with no or minimal design changes? Like the Mac mini, iPhone, Apple Watch, etc?

Recommendation: Given how expensive the Pro Display XDR is, it is worth waiting for the next model at this point. Also consider the Studio Display, which is over two years newer, more affordable, and has a built-in camera and speakers.
