Regarding the overall new design - does it make any difference - say I'd just bought the Speck See Thru 15" cover, before I bought the new Macbook Pro?
(which I obviously have!!)

I mean does it still fit perfectly? Has anybody tried it out?

I was wondering the same thing.... I was going to buy an iskin keyboard cover, but noone here has given a clear answer as to whether or not older keyboard covers will in fact fit on the newer slightly tweaked MBP keyboards. Somebody let me know! need 2 order soon. tia

Two things that may get on people's nerves about this:

• no more num lock as mentioned earlier
• no more small 'enter' key on the right...now a second option key (look in above post)

oh wow i just noticed they completely removed the number pad. interesting. i've never used mine, but still interesting.

How is it useful? I honestly don't know what it's for.

One example of its usefulness is when you have a dialog box with a multiple-line text field in it. Normally the Return key activates the default button, but if you're typing in the text field, Return inserts a new line, so how do you quickly activate the the default button? Well, that's what the Enter key is for, assuming the dialog box is set up that way.

Except, like Num lock and the lack of Caps lock safeguards, those of us that didn't use the enter key (like me) either found it irritating when pressed on accident (like me) or didn't care for it at all (some other, I'm sure)/
