Does anyone know if it is possible to re-enable 3-finger up/ down scrolling to bring you to the top and bottom of a page like in SL? I'm assuming not because of Mission Control...

Are there any free VNC clients that work with Lion. Since installing Lion and running the software update I am unable to connect using PocketCloud (iPhone) or UltraVNC (Win).

Check System Preferences -> Sharing -> Screen Sharing, make sure it is on. I am drawing a blank on free ones, but a Google search should show the top Free ones.

Would this preference have changed? Sharing was working(-ish) in Lion up until a reboot following some system updates.

There is a keyboard shortcut for that if you don't have a keyboard with a number pad, namely "fn+left arrow" for top of the page, and "fn+right arrow" for bottom of the page.

HP Drivers for HP Photosmart Premium e-All-In-One printer don't work in Lion.

EDIT: Nevermind, Instead of downloading the installer from the HP website you can go to System Preferences>Printers> Add a new printer and it will download the latest drivers from Apple. :)

Or cmd+up/down. However, I do prefer the gesture...I miss it :(

Problems with Right Click

I've been having problems with the right click in Lion. With SL I could just hold two fingers on the trackpad and click the button (I have an older one with a button). The other option was to touch the trackpad with two fingers. Either way, even in finder, the menu fails to pop up. Only clicking normally while holding down the control button seems to work.

Anyone else have this problem?

Dropbox works for me, but navigation (going back and forth) doesn't work in chrome, finder, etc.

I had that problem too. To fix it, I had to change the "Swipe Between Pages" settings to three fingers instead of 2. It gets rid of the cool way pages move when going back in safari, but it goes back in folders as well as webpages.

Is anybody else experiencing crashing problems in Google Chrome? Whenever I try to do any kid of three finger gesture - up, down, left and right, it crashes. I have tried disabling BetterTouchTool but that doesn't make any difference. I am running the dev version but I reverted to stable and still had the same problem.

After reading the above post I tried a two finger click, it comes up instantly however a two finger tap has a delay, rather annoying :/

You're right- that's odd...

I've never been one for keyboard shortcuts, but thank you! This will save me some time : )

Can you show me exactly how you did it?

Thank you so much.

Mac the Ripper

Mac the Ripper doesn't work, I didn't expect it to. Does anyone know of a better alternative?
