Huh? Everything is already encrypted. OpenBubbles facilitates in masking your Android phone to become an Apple device... now Apple has prevented the developer from notarizing BlueBubbles (the server client), but they are still able to continue with the project.Apple could encrypt the local macOS messages database. This would prevent Blue/OpenBubbles from reading the messages and syncing them to other devices. I won't be surprised if they do this "for security" - which technically might be true (albeit a thin excuse), but disappointing.
But with them not being able to sign server builds... users have to manually update instead of doing it automatic, so I decided to go with OpenBubbles. Plus the extra benefit of moving away from the Mac always being on with the server constantly active. OpenBubbles is a much easier process.
