As the rumors keep developing, this looks like a very valid design.

I'll be very impressed with MacRumors if this comes true. And i'm really hoping it does.

I haven't taken the Apple leap as of yet mainly due to the screen size of the current iPhone 4/4s feeling very small, while the device itself looks clunky. But if this is what the iPhone5 does end up looking like, i along with my fiancee will be jumping ship from Android and my Samsung Epic 4G & her HTC Evo. For those that are saying this design is "hideous" or dont like the oval home button, i have to seriously disagree, as the oval home button & overall design is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

What do you find about the iPhone to br clunky? I have it right now, the 4S, and compared to all thee Android phones I see, the interface/UI and build quality/design are a notch up.

But I mean, I've been isn't android for a year and some months now and used many high end phones.

I still think the iPhone 5--which will likely be finalized in design by early 2012--will essentially look like a "thicker" 4G iPod touch, but with a slightly curved screen like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

The oval home button is great, it's more intuitive and easier to press. Hopefully you will only have to tap it instead of click it and swipe to go over to the next page and the white part lights up when you have notifications

That and it makes too much sense design wise in an industry where the top tier handsets are moving away from the solid chunk/brick of a phone. The iPhone is a dated look and now has the smallest screen out of the masses.

I would forgive the stale look of iOS if I could at least use it on a screen that wasn't smaller than the one on a DSLR. Now, I wouldn't hesitate getting an iPhone 5 if it had a 4" or 4.3" screen and I could at least get a fat clock with the weather on the home screen ala the HTC EVO.

sorry to bring this back but all the rumors and cases last year of this design i was really hoping for are still hopefully the new iPhone this year. The other mockup design and longer screen is horrible. I want this phone!

Have you guys seen the 'rumour' pictures of the two tone back? I hate it! the white one looks cream and white. I want the phone in this thread, NOT that one!

Taste is very individual - i do prefer the two-tone back any given time over the boring yet obtrusive bright white on front _and_ back that is currently found on iPhones and the mockups in this thread.

The claimed leak pictures look like champagne and white and in that combination very elegant to me - would choose that in a heartbeat! I already had the 3GS in white, where the black front and the less shiny (plastic) white on the back worked very well together optically. Again - for me! I know that quite some other people complained about that combination.

Shows how difficult it is for J. Ive to find a design that suits the majority while still expressing that special Apple look!

I love the new design except for the home button. I want the original button which is in a circular shape.
