People don't make new threads to shout when their phone is perfect. You looking at a vocal minority.

That's it. Just wait till you get the phone, you will love it. If not... there's always the alternative :). But don't listen too much to all the complaints. Its what people do. Heck, go to a shoelace forum and I bet you'll find complaints there too.

People getting rowdy about aglets, now that would be priceless.

Does anybody have any suggestions? I've been on other forums and they're nowhere near as bitter and mean as macrumors.

I find no harm in reading up on issues being experienced by owners.

Just try not to get caught up in this and look for issues.

I've known people to visit Apple a stores to see how 'yellow' their screens are etc.

Enjoy the phone.

Really comes down to a moderator working full-time and laying the smackdown on pretty much every single snarky comment until a new type of forum behavior is established and expected.

You can always let the admins know in the 'site and forum feedback section' here, but I don't see the site changing it's culture anytime soon though (just my opinion).

This forum is so unhealthy!

No worries happens every iPhone release. If you go by what people complain about here you will never be satisfied with an iPhone. Remember people these forums probably account for 1% of iPhone users in the USA.

Can you share the other forums' names?

The internet in general can be a cold and bitter place. Just don't take it seriously. The iPhone 6/6+ are both great devices. I'm sure you'll be happy with your device when it comes in ##

Some of the complaints I think are just asinine such as "When I press hard on the left side of my screen it sinks in." Well you don't have to press hard anywhere on the screen to use your phone so wtf are you pressing hard to begin with!? Also the bend thing is way overblown, I mean just be effin reasonable and don't do crap like try to bend it by forcibly putting as much pressure on it as you possibly can to see if it bends, or sitting on it in your back pocket. I got mine today and gave it a very brief glance over, put the screen protector on it and put it in it's case and using it and it looks perfect to me. Now I can see complaining if I had a row of dead pixels or it was bent out of the box or a gap in the sceen but to try and do stuff to the phone to make out issues is just plain stupid imo.
