One reason I hesitated to buy it (first time since 2007. Prior, I'd bought all on day one) was due to the look. It looks like version 1.

I regret buying the gold. The 5S's gold back looked metallic and high quality. This gold looks like a cheap yellow. I would've opted for the space gray.

That said, I always case-up my iPhones, so the back never shows anyway. I'm fine with it now.

I personally thought the 5 slate was the best looking iPhone. So uniform, professional, and sleek! I loved it. I also got my girlfriend a 5s and she liked it as well and I slightly envied the look and feel of the device. I now have a 6 in space gray and the novelty is starting to wear. Don't get me wrong it's a great looking phone, just not as beautiful and polished as my 5 or girlfriends 5s. Just my opinion though. Since I upgrade every year I will still keep this device, I just think it looks better in a case (preferable the Apple leather combination)

That photo is what made me switch from white to black this year. I love my SG iPhone 6 and am using that wallpaper on my lock screen.

Same here. The last phone that I had that was all black on the front was the Galaxy Nexus and even with that phone, when I would put a black wallpaper on it...the screen looked so sleek. The 6/6+ looks even better. A black wallpaper just makes the Space Gray iPhone look badass IMO. I have the 6+ and absolutely love it. It just looks so sleek.

I could care less about the antenna lines showing on the back of the phone. I also wouldn't mind if the phone went back to the thickness of the 4 or 5 series.

Which of those is the biggest? Which of those represents the most votes?

That's, correct! It's 45%, which is the iPhone 6 poll option.

Do you truly not understand that what you said above doesn't mae any sense whatsoever?

Look I dont want to sit here and educate you.

I was very specific in what I said, and please do not tell me I get my figures wrong, I am a mathematics student, so your comment would be extremely uninvited.

I said the majority have voted for a design which is not iPhone 6. That statement was correct then, and is still correct now, you yourself have showed this.

55% of people voted for a phone other than 6.

Note 4 - LG G3 .. Looks 10x nicer then iPhone 6.. I have a 6 plus by the way..

The black 5 was probably the most elegant design to me. The 5S comes in a close second , only because they switched to Space Grey. Actually the 4 and 4S were pretty nice too.

The 6/6 Plus are nice, but not as nice as the 4/5.

Pretty much this. The 5 hit a sweet spot in terms of design, the proportions were great.

The regular 6 does look very sleek. The 6 Plus...not so much. The design didn't translate as well to a larger phone IMO (though it doesn't necessarily look bad).

The antenna lines on both look crap though.

Bwahahaha...dude, please tell me you're serious and not trolling; it would absolutely make my night. Because if you seriously believe in the validity of the suppositions and conclusions that you're drawing based on the current results, then you need to keep studying, Mr. Mathematics Student.

Oh, and by the way, this is a public forum, so my comments are actually invited, by definition.

Thanks again for the laugh. Good stuff.

The thinner the better! The 5S design is nice, but it is too thick. The double glass takes too much space.

The original iPhone, all the way up to the 4, were hideous. I hated the look and feel of my 3gs so much. SO much.

The 4 was/is breathtaking. Sometimes I pull it out just to look at it.

The 6 isn't hideous, but it's not gorgeous. Those bands...

I loved the design if the iPhone 4 and 5, but I have to say the design and look of the 6 definitely surpasses the IP5. With that said, I still maintain my opinion that Apple erred in making this thinner, there really isn't any reason for this imo. Still the IP6 is an elegant looking phone.

I really love the design of the slate iPhone 5, I just had my 5 replaced due to a swelling battery and I forgot how stunning it looked brand new. Slate really did look better than space grey, it's a shame it had problems with chipping and scuffing.

Same here - like the industrial looking soap bars. The curved edges of the 6 is a throwback to the 2G original.

My first iPhone was the 3G, 4, 5. Ever since I upgraded to the 4, I hated the design and was anxiously waiting for the design of the 2 or 3 to come back. Or even a 1st gen iPad like design. Without a case, I feel like I am holding a slippery fish with the 4 & 5. I will be getting the 6 this week. Can't wait!

The 6/6 Plus are nice, but not as nice as the 4/5.

I love the 5 series design, and I also love and appreciate the 6 design too, I love the sleek black look with the sides sloping off , it looks amazing IMO, With that being said I do wish their Space Gray model was a bit darker, now that would of looked awesome with the black front if the Space Gray is just a bit darker

Cosmetically light, and well designed. As for the plastic inserts , most people keep it in a case so who cares
The bezels are something that I would have liked to see disappear
The functionality and battery life are very good. Nice new bells and whistles
Overall it's a great iPhone #

This is difficult to answer because the 6/6+ is the best looking design only on the front but are bit of an eyesore on the back. I'd say the Slate iPhone 5 is the best overall looking design front and back. Too bad the thick antenna bands could not have been narrower to prevent another Antenna/NFCgate because otherwise it would have smoked em all.

My brother has the LG G3 and I can't say I share the opinion it looks 10 times better? My first impression was it had a nice screen and seemed quite fluid in its use, but its a standard rectangular device with a curved plastic back plate. I think the iPhone is far superior aesthetically with its use of materials down to the finer details of the speakers and camera surround. Just my opinion, but I can't see any other phone on the market that equals the iPhone on sheer design. OS's are a different matter because these are often the deciding factor anyway for the individual.

I have to add my brother has had the G3 for nearly 9 weeks now after previously having 3 successive iPhone's and he has had a load of problems with it. The screen goes super dim when outdoors for some reason and the screens pause when swiping. He also can't get it to remain signed in to Gmail and the camera app crashes nearly every time he uses it. He has a 24 month contract and regrets it. He keeps asking my advice because I used Android for years but I can't say I am impressed with the G3. I thought my S3 was laggy but this is something else. He can't get a straight replacement now either because its over 2 weeks old! Three are overing to send the device off but can't offer a replacement in the mean time. If this was an iPhone it would be replaced on appointment.

The 5s looks the best imo. For me, the problem with the 6 is the impractical protruding camera - and those antenna bands/lines don't look great!

Make the 4/4S slightly thinner, remove the bezel in the sides and a bit on top and bottom, add a 4" screen including the bezel-less width. Modern specs otherwise.

<3 the perfect phone.

Nope. I hated the 5 series. I think the 6 series is the best iPhone design to date.

Couldn't agree more with this statement. In fact, I hated the 5 series so much I voted with my wallet and spent 2 years on Android until tempted back by the 6 which IMO is gorgeous :)
