your a good guy. big thumbs up!

I have two 1.8 processors if the OP needs em! Freebie.

Thanks for the offer Jezzy, but my 1.8 board is suffering from the bad solder joints that plagued many systems from that era. I could use a new 1.8 board, but you probably have the same issue I do.

If you send me your address and agree to pay the shipping I'll send you the DP 2.0 7,3 I have. We can work out how to pay me for it after you get back to work. I'll pull the drives and the optical and you can keep.

Chris and I are working out the details via PM. Thanks Chris!

Now i run 3 FW800
The one which blowed a Power Unit after the other runs now well with 1.25 Ghz CPU.I got me for it a modified Heatsink and is so silent i started them a few Times till i noticed that he is anywhy on 🙂
Then i got 2 more FW 800 with 1.42 Ghz CPU
One has a faulty Ram Slot i managed to swap a 512 mhz Ram with a 1 Gb Ram and have 2 GB again.Just it got from 3200 to 2700 down.
So im happy with them 3 right now.
Have a G4 iMac 15" as Dust catcher, but still good working, and have 2 Xserve G4 1 ghz under the Bed dusting around. Was thinking if a G5 2.3 Ghz dual Logicboard would fit in,with using old Ata drives as Sata Bays dont fit.
Ahh yes
Have a G5 1.8 Ghz Single and a G5 2.0 ghz Dual using as Table, but dont think im spending much on them anymore. Just saying in Case someone needs Parts

First it wouldn't power on after sleeping, so I disabled sleep.
Then it had issues with 2 out of the 4 GB of RAM, so I removed 2GB.
The Radeon 9800 was giving me artifacts, so I swapped it out with a 9600XT.

Now, after sitting all night powered sown, it takes all sort of shenanigans to get it to boot. Sometimes just pressing and holding the power button will allow it to restart. Sometimes I have to unplug it from the power source and it will power on after 10 - 15 seconds. Sometimes pulling the side panel and baffle seem to make it work. When this is going down, the front indicator stays off until the power button is held to shut the unit down. Some times it chimes sometimes it doesn't.

Once it has booted, it is just fine if I shut it down and start it back up. The front indicator turns on before the chime and everything is cool.

The battery was replaced a month ago, and all software is up to date. I have run Monolingual to get rid of other languages and architecture. No bluetooth or wireless is installed. It seemed to work without issue for about 2 or 3 weeks, now this. Any suggestions?

Code:
DP 2.0Ghz
2GB RAM (4x 512MB PC3200 two-sided)
Seagate 160GB sata HDD
Radeon 9600XT 128MB
OSX Leopard
no USB devices attached except key with mouse attached to it. (EMC 1944)

Its a PSU problem. Got the same problem before.
