Not sure if this was brought up, but has anyone noticed small dots on the screens of the iPhones themselves? They are not present when the screen is ON, but if you turn off the phone and look under a light after you clean the screen pretty well, there'll be at least 3-4 dots throughout the screen. My theory is maybe this is just with the new coating that Apple applied?

Also, I went through multiple iPhones this year for screen quality, and surprisingly the GVC screen is the most uniform and actually appears brighter with autobrightness on (Compared to G9P and G9N). If other people have the small dots on their screens as well, might just keep this phone and eventually trade it in/sell it.

I was planning to upgrade from my 13 Pro, but threads like this and iOS 26, I’m still on iOS 18.7.2, has really made me hesitate over upgrading. The last thing I wont to do is engage in some kind of merry go round of exchanging 17 Pros.
You’ll exchange them next year or when you upgrade no worries.

Two iPhone 17 Pros both with G9Qs and both look great. No weird color shifting or variable hues. Uniform color at different viewing angles. Without True Tone, both tend to the cool/blue look. With TT they are warmer. Thankfully, I haven't needed to return an iPhone for display/color issues since iPhone 4S/5/5S days.
You should add some photos for curiosity.
