I know what you mean. How much does the average TV series or film take up? Guess it depends how many I would download. If i were to download Tv shows it would be a series would i imagine.
A single TV show episode (40 mins) takes up approximately 1.5 GB in HD. A movie can be between 4-5 GB in HD. That's why I need 128GB. I'd buy 256GB if it were available.

TV episodes are typically 250-500MB for SD, 1-1.5GB for 720p. Movies are ~1.5GB for SD, ~3-4GB for 720p and ~6-8GB for 1080p. I make my own rips from Blu-ray discs using Handbrake unless the Blu-ray release comes with Digital HD versions (iTunes or Ultraviolet) included. I stick to SD or 720p so I can store more content. Right now, I've got a season of Game of Thrones, a few anime eps, and a couple of Disney movies on my iPhone. Would be nice if I can keep a bigger selection on there hence the 128GB when I upgrade.
I'm sensitive to SD content. I really wish I could just be happy with it as it takes up less space and is cheaper but I'm a sucker for HD content. I used to like ripping stuff when I used android devices. I'd just stick it on my SD card. Now I have an aversion to regular usage of iTunes and I just feel lazy in general these days so I end up buying it on iTunes.

32GB. If not an option, then no 6S. Easy as that. 16GB is not enough (barely getting by with my current 16GB iPhone 5) and 64GB is waaaaaay overkill.

But the 64GB model this year cost the same as the 32GB model from last year. It wouldn't cost you any more money to get the 64GB if the pricing structure stays the same.

Then I'd be wasting $100 if there's still the dreaded 16GB option. I don't need 64GB, but I can't get by with 16GB. 32GB is a way better deal if it's at the same price as the 16GB.

But if the options were still 16GB, 32GB and 128GB as they were 2 years ago, what you're actually doing by getting a 64GB is buying a 32GB mid-range model and getting another 32GB for free. I'm struggling to understand why this isn't the obvious route instead of avoiding it altogether.

Personally I'll be taking the 64GB as a minimum. Depending on the prices it will inflict on my contract I may go all out and grab a 128GB model, that way I can transfer my 80GB iTunes library and if the battery life is good enough I can retire my 160GB iPod classic to the car and condense my pocket down to one device with the ability to control it from my watch too :D Unfortunately my 5S doesn't have the battery to supply me with music all day :(

128GB, I like to have better than I had the year before if the storage was constantly full. Seen as I travel my 64GB iPads tend to get full so my 6 Pls was 128GB which is extremely useful and what is the point in downgrading if you have used more than the 57GB most 64GB devices get in free space etc. Also, who really wants to downgrade storage if they can help it? :)

Yeah, I had a similar transformation. 6 Plus battery tends to last me all day at the least (Typically 6:00-23:30, at which point I plug it in or sleep) so assuming the 6S Plus has superior battery specs or efficiency you should be good to go. But what I don't know is if you use an iPad more after work etc? In which cases you should have no problems :)

Seriously my next iPhone will be 128 GB. I have an iPhone 5 64 GB now and I only have 3 GB of storage left.

32 if Apple make it the base model else 64. Using 16gb iPhone 6 and it's just not good enough. Will pass this to my wife and get the 6s or 7 for myself.

I currently use more then 64GB's on both my 128GB iPhone 6 Plus and 128GB iPad Air 2. I will be upgrading to the 6S Plus with 128GB. Even If I don't use all the storage as it's not upgradeable using SD cards I prefer to have the maximum built in storage anyway. I don't like having to manage my storage and steaming is impractical even in this day and age as I don't have an unlimited data plan and wi-fi is not available every where. Plus streaming uses more battery power as well.

16 GB, I'm hoping they still make these with the 6S and future models. I have everything on the cloud, and there is WiFi almost everywhere when data is not around. So no need to store anything. It's 2015 folks!

I disagree. I live in London and wi-fi certainly isn't every where. I'm baffled by the number of people who think they can rely on cellular and wi-fi connections to stream a majority of the time. If you're walking around out side or are traveling on the subway there is no wi-fi so there is no way to stream. It's simply not possible to rely 100% on a cellular or wi-fi connection. Also unless you have an unlimited data plan then streaming using a cellular connection isn't possible anyway.

Well look at the leaks it is said to have the same ram of 1gb and only will get some faster lte better camera same ********

Leaks are not confirmations of the final specs of the product. If you want to accept them as such so be it but I and I'm sure others will wait until there is official confirmation from Apple of the actual specs. Irrespective of that there will be some changes and it's up to the individual whether those changes are worth it or not. The 6S is not going to be exactly the same as the current 6.

It is u watch it's been like that since the iPhone launched and u don't have to get so worked up about it. Do u own the company
