Definitely worth it:

1.) No purple tint to the camera under home lighting, and the camera is pretty damn good
2.) Significantly faster than the iPhone 4, especially animations
3.) Proximity sensor actually works
4.) Bluetooth works miles better, has better range, and no more crackly sounds through headsets
5.) Siri is a babe

Can we please hear more from the people that actually DID move from a 4 to a 4S and what their actual experiences are?
Hi!

Aside from activation delays and some Siri hiccups I am completely delighted with my upgrade. I'm on a family plan and we spend a fair amount every month, so if I want to upgrade again in a year I'm reasonably confident I'll be able to. No regrets.

...Which is why phone companies are so rich, because people think "Hurp durp why not get an iphone 4s because I only have to pay $19... this is the real deal!"

Not sure how it works in New Zealand, but here in the US, we don't get a discount on our monthly service for being off-contract. So if your service is going to cost you the same amount per month either way, they why not upgrade if the out-of-pocket difference is only $19?

This guy is an idiot. Do not get a 4S from a 4. You will miss out on the real release next summer. iPhone 5 is where its at.

iPhone 4S=iPhone 5 ;)

Next iPhone: iPhone 6.

I'm going to play with one tomorrow then decide if it's worth it. My carrier still hasnt gotten in touch about my upgrade yet so I'm undecided.

For my use at work, which is mainly streaming Pandora...it is worth it. We are not allowed to use earbuds or headsets, so I have to go basic...and the 4S is much louder than the 4. Ok, not MUCH MUCH louder, but it's noticeable and an improvement anyway. If you use speakerphone or things like that a lot, it's worth it.

I'm thinking they made it louder for Siri?

Since a used iPhone 4 can easily be sold for $300, it seems like a no brainer. I don't think I've ever actually paid for an iPhone upgrade, and I've had an iPhone since day 1. Aside from that, I find Siri much more useful than I thought I would, and the speed increase is very welcome.

YES, well worth the upgrade.

Love my iPhone 4S, huge difference from the 4. Siri is very cool, something I'll use. And in Canada we don't have the maps feature yet, still its well worth it, I'm very satisfied.

AT&T has let me have the full upgrade price with each new iPhone launch. I can sell the old one for more than the new costs me. So why wouldn't I take the opportunity to upgrade? I'll get the same when the next one come sout as well.
