Seeing people who ordered after me and getting their shipment before me is getting me upset.
Why isn't AT&T shipping first-come first-serve?
i ended up hanging up. they transferred me to the billing dept and was on hold for 35 minutes! and still no answer. i'll probably try again tomorrow if there's no changes. it's just weird that the Premier agent on the phone says that my order was entered wrong from their end, yet there was a pending charge on my debit card. they said the order entry was corrected, now there's no pending charge on my debit card. however, he says it still says "processing" on their system. argh![]()
It's not the end of the world or anything, but that doesn't seem fair.My guess is that it somehow depends on your location too... Maybe quotas based on region if you order from the web, or by store if you order in-store. That's the only thing I can figure... saw a post last night that someone who ordered on the 6th had theirs shipped the same day (32 GB) and they were from NYC. Who knows though...
Ordered morning of 7/1 through the Premier site. Order status on the main AT&T site still says backordered and the Premier site still says "Processing" with the last activity on 7/2. Good grief.
Seems like orders placed in store or direct through the AT&T website are processing/shipping faster them those placed through the premier site![]()
I placed my 16gb order through premier on 7/1, still "processing"
at least it looks like 6/30 and 7/1 orders are getting infos updated. hopefully your update comes soon. i'm crossing my update comes for a 7/2 order tomorrow
I ordered on 7/2 because my apple order kept getting put on hold. So I hope mine changes soon as well.
just wondering, do you still have a pending charge on your bank account? mine disappeared, and apparently it means the order is "activated" and waiting for the warehouse to pick it up
Does anyone know why it would take 24 hours or more to go from not back-ordered to shipped? Seems like this is taking a lot longer than it has for others.
Ordered 32GB 7/1 in store for direct fulfillment, went from 1 back-order to 0 yesterday afternoon, still no shipping info.
Probably because they got a ton in stock (hence no longer on back order), and are now getting them shipped out. So, presumably yours is in line to get shipped after all the 6/29 and 6/30 orders (which probably number in the 10's of thousands). Doesn't explain the ones getting shipped who ordered after you though.
Hi I am new to this site, but thought I would let you all know how my Iphone order went.
I ordered my 32G Iphone on July 5th at 10:18 a.m. and just now got an updated email saying my phone would be here by 4:30 tomorrow.
I ordered online thru AT&T premeir Sevice. Needless to say I am a very happy camper. Hope all of you that have been waiting for a while, start to see your phones being shipped also.

You're not alone. My fiance ordered hers on June 30th in store. Went off backorder yesterday early afternoon. Still no tracking info on it.
