What was your experience like? I have a 6 64gb atm but have always wanted something a bit bigger. Plus seems like it's just too big, but the increase in battery life is definitely a massive plus (pun intended).

I would only get a 16GB plus. Please no storage discussion.

IMO the Plus isn't even worth having at 16GB. Unless you would really be content with 11 actual GB of space for storage, the lower end model is a waste of your time.

As much as I love my 6S+, I wouldn't take it at 16GB.

Both 6S and 6S plus have their pros and cons, although a poll with over 100 votes on this forum indicates that the Plus is twice as popular as the 6S.

There are so many threads on this topic and you could refer to them for details. However I only want to add that, it would not be a good idea to get the 16gb model for most people. If I couldn't afford the 64GB 6S plus, I would get the 6S 64GB.

It depends on your your lifestyle to be honest. Have a lot of music on your phone? Videos? Photos? If not, 16GB might work for you. Try this, look at your iPhone 6 and see how much storage you have left out of your 64 and you'll get a good idea if 16gb is sufficient for you.

Do realise I have practically nothing on my 64gb. I pretty much just use YouTube and whatsapp on my phone daily.

Mind linking me to the thread with the poll?

Love mine..battery life is awesome and this device has made me realise there is no point in having a small tablet for on the go...it's that good.

You can always wait till around the Christmas period. There may be discounts and promotions to help you save some money. By then supply issues and software issues (iOS 9.1) should be ironed out already.

Some would argue that the 6S plus *is* a tablet, which happens to also make phone calls. They created a name for it - phablet.

Supply issues don't seem to be a problem for me (UK). Helped a friend buy a 6+ at the busiest Apple store. Got online at 7PM to reserve, and went and picked up at 8PM

It's the battery life that's shocked me. I'm used to big phones as I had the note 3 and 4 and it blows them away

The iPhone 6S Plus is comparable in size to the bigger Android phones, phablets.

It is too small to be a tablet, although you may use it to do some things you do on a tablet.

If battery life is what you hanker after, nothing beats Sony phones.
It's not just what I'm after...I love everything about what the iPhone brings. As I have a MacBook and iPad everything syncs perfectly...would never buy Sony anyway

Realistically I struggle with 16GB, i never used to, but I take a lot of short videos (10-20secs) these days

Also, if I were to get a plus, I would only be able to afford 16gb instead of 64gb.

If 16gb was your only option for the 6s plus then just stay with the 6. 16gb is such a waste nowadays.

The plus is amazing. Great battery life hogger and clear screen with precision to detail. I can't go back to anything smaller and I'm glad I choose the bigger iPhone. If you like watching lots of video and using your iPhone productively with apps I'd go for it. The fact you can only afford the 16gig model sucks. I have the 128gig rose gold model and I store everything on it. Videos, documents, photos games. I'd save up extra.

I can afford more, but I don't see the point for me. I use my phone for YouTube, WhatsApp and Music, that's it. But I am concerned that maybe because of the larger screen, I may want to start putting movies etc. up. I still think I will go for the 16gb. I'm really desperate for better battery life.

I agree with the posts in here that it's really based on your needs. While I scorn Apple for starting at 16g some can get buy. More use of Cloud Services, swapping apps/music/images on and off the phone weekly/daily? My wife gets by fine with a 16g 6 4.7". She has no Music files or Video. I require a 64g due to always having a large amount of Music, and Video content on my 6 4.7". Both our children ( in late 20's ) can barely make it with 128g. One a 6, the other a 6+. It's very unfortunate Apple puts customers in this position. The 6s should have been 32, 64, 128. :apple:
