Scheduling is so enjoyable, it's like being able to write down unhinged thoughts way in advance, and then a week later I see it freshly posted on my own profile and think "wait... what the heck did I write?!"

It's like a present for your future self (and anyone unfortunate enough to get caught up in it)
Only schedule while chemically altered. Meet your night self

Twitter.com. Just ignore all of the "X" references. :)

The worst part of the site now, aside from the unfettered conspiracy theories, blatant lies, and easily debunked falsehoods and of course the overwhelming amount of hate speech and toxicity - is that every time you read replies to a tweet, you have to scroll past all the blue tick whoppers and their horrific takes to get to some semblance of normality.

X still works great. Keeps me up to date on news, my field, apple, AI, and other stuff. And amazingly....I dont have to see any politics because I dont want to deal with that mess. For my field it's now the best way to stay up to date.

Also X has Community Notes. They can be added to advertisements. I cannot imagine going back to social media without community notes. Huge innovation in social media.

It's amazing how those "12 people" are able to keep the Threads app ranked so high on the App Store's "Top Free Apps" list. It's currently #1.
Yes, the list where ChatGPT is second. A company not even Sam Altman is really pretending has a future or any viable path to profitability anymore.

At the risk of being the guy asking the same question in the thread over and over…one of the Zuck cheerleaders needs to show us a basic link or screenshot that counters the general gut sentiment that this is a zombie appendage of the existing Facebook suite of apps.

Are brands even investing?

Why should you join a new social network that is heavily censored from the start, if there I much less censored alternatives?

Threads already annoys me without having joined it. On Instagram I often get messages like "XY posted a Thread that you might like: ':)' ". So basically someone posted a single smiley (or sometimes to or three smileys) on Threads and they have the nerves to ask me if I like that. WTF??

I’m proud I used to have Twitter on my phone and never installed X update. Threads is the new Twitter now.

Let’s see em! And the follower counts should reflect the tens or hundreds of millions of active users allegedly on Threads.

Well I wouldn't be interested in them but Neymar is 18 million followers, Selena Gomez has 17m, Beast has 9.3m, Shakira has 10m etc.

Brands? UFC has 5m, WWE 3.1m, Nike has 12.1m, Google 3m, BMW 5m, Louis Vuitton 7m etc.
