Two people whose opinion on STEM is totally irrelevant are about to talk about STEM. An MBA and .... a business owner I guess?

I am in STEM. Here is how to get more STEM: get out of the smart kids way and let them do their thing. No amount to technology is going to get more people in STEM (we have done studies - technology in education provides no net benefits).

I can't think of anyone that's in more over her head than Ivanka Trump... daily.

Exactly. Tim Cook visiting a school with Ivanka Trump is like Bill Gates visiting a microchip manufacturing factory with Britney Spears.

I actually don't think Ivanka is that bad, but that is probably all relative when I consider her father.
She is in way over her head on such matters. She is articulate, sure, but intellectually just not there. The three Donald/Ivana kids (Don Jr., Ivanka, and Eric) are pretty much the Kardashians of the east cost.

Ivanka happened to be a successful woman prior to he current duties.

Seriously? I am assuming there was a /s missing there?

Some highlights from her wiki include:

"Ivanka Trump's flagship store on Mercer Street appear to be closed" and, noting that the shop had been "stripped clean".

Her brand was criticized for allegedly copying designs by other designers, and by PETA and other animal rights activists for using fur from rabbits

In February 2017, department store chains Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom dropped Trump's fashion line, citing "poor performance."

In 2016, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled "Ivanka Trump"-branded scarves because they did not meet federal flammability standards.

On July 24, 2018, Ivanka Trump announced that she decided to shut down her company after deciding to pursue a career in public policy instead of returning to her fashion company.
(Why would anyone successful need to do this?)

Quite the list of triumphs. She clearly seems like an absolute business whizz....

They are good at surrounding themselves with people who are generally more successful and decent at making money, because otherwise they would be nobody. At least when he did this for cabinet picks, his picks have been holding him back so that the country can survive. But even that has been eroding significantly. I think it's only a matter of time before they have a massive meltdown and the people will end up paying for it.

An engineer, MBA, and CEO of one the most successful tech companies in the world, and ... a business owner I guess?

Details matter.

Especially if you're forced to ;). But I kid. Back to Ivanka. You're just biased because I believe you still hold a torch for her. ;)
SHE'S HOT

It's funny how conservatives think that because Fox is so heavily and clearly biased toward the right then every other news outlet must be just as biased toward the left.
they are, hell CNN does not even hide it.

Ocasio Cortes is definitely over her head. She’s a complete embarrassment and emblematic of a leftist culture that’s built on resentment and ignorance and fueled solely by emotion.

Yup, Ocasio-Cortez sure is known for her middle-of the night ALL CAPS twitter rants, her resentment and continuous attacks on her predecessor or her election opponent from years ago, or her denial of science and suggesting things like raking forests to prevent fires.

Keep drinking the orange kool-aid, kid.

I love it when libs try and defend her.

I hope Tim asks her about use of tear gas on children. Even the Fox guy went ballistic over that. "Poisoning women and children is reprehensible." Fox will probably fire him, make him apologize, or make him take a brief vacation.

And for those that think the economy is doing well right now, I hope you gain reasoning skills in the future. Step 1: read journals published by multiple world sources (note: Fox News is not a source, it's a click bait machine).

Oh well, nothing matters with this narcissist and his followers. If Trump gets elected again I'm gone. That would truly indicate this country is ignorant, and education is dead.

Ocasio-Cortez is known for the air between her ears. She was elected for two reasons and two reasons only.

I'll let you figure out which two those are
