Doesn't this already exists, it's a Nano with a Wristband.

Clearly you didn't watch the keynote. The Nano and the Apple Watch have virtually nothing in common beyond kind of sort of similar size a little.
Exactly. The aWatch doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Nor does it have 4 day battery life. :p

I'm enjoying mine (I've got an iWatchz Elemental stainless steel band with silver Nano). It isn't perfect, but it works well enough. I'm hoping that the aWatch offers some nice standalone functionality.

You can't. Because you would be charging the watch. LOL!!!

You keep repeating this crud, yet you seem to "forget" that it could easily take 30 minutes, or less to charge. Or are you saying that despite having a battery 1/8 to 1/7 the size of the Iphone 6, it will take the same time to charge? Get out the electrical engineering support for this affirmation please; i want to see them.

Hope they can throw in some more battery tweaks between now and then. I know that charging nightly shouldn't be a chore, but I want a device that monitors my sleep patterns and I can't do that if the damn thing is charging on the nightstand.

On schedule ?? April is not begin of 2015 anymore

Exactly what I was thinking!! Also, I thought January was the original target? I would also guess that when April gets here the watch will not be ready then either. They may be on schedule for whatever task list they have in their company but not on schedule compared to the market.

They never said beginning of 2015 or January. Only ever said Early 2015, until the call the other week where Tim said April. They're only behind in your imagination it seems. Now, if they change from April until after, then they will be delayed. Is that hard to comprehend? Lol

Years ago people used to joke that a Jaguar owner should always buy two at the same time. That way, they'd have one to drive while the other was in the shop being worked on.

So the solution to your dilemma is easy: buy two Watches! ;)

Haha. Still trying to argue against this? Did you not learn from the other thread a few days back where you also tried to say March is not 'early 2015' either?

Apple have historical precedent where they've used early/mid/late, showing they split the year into thirds. You choose to ignore this just so you can bash Apple. For someone that has no interest in the Apple Watch, you sure post enough in threads about it..,

The first day of Spring this year is on March 20th and it runs through to June 21st - - and yet I have never heard anyone argue that Spring doesn't come early in the year.

No one is talking about the seasons. Only the common use by Apple of early/mid/late. Think you're being deliberately obtuse.

I was simply supporting your point.

Spring comes early in the year and yet runs all the way till June.

why waste your time replying to something i already forgot about

Well if u already forget about your coment that u don't do watches, good for u. but I was just curious to know why u would even coment on this thread if u don't do watches that's all. I mean I am not going to contribute in anyway on something that I have no interest in. But then again that's just me cheers.

As far as I know, 'beginning' and 'early' are not exactly the same. We can't fault Apple since April is still considered early. And the one who said January was the original target was not Apple (someone get too excited and translate 'early' to 'January' and thus the rumour started). Since Apple said to ship in April, it's most likely the watch will ship in April (historically, they did not change their schedule for major release)

Had they done that people would have questioned why they announced it so early, I think it's clear they wanted it out in Q1 but I'm glad they're waiting. First impressions with this product will be more important than ever and getting battery life and bugs worked out before shipping is most important.

They announced the original iPhone with the pretty much same amount of gap between then and the launch, as they've announced the Apple Watch and the April launch. So really, it's not a delay or anything else.
