Had first look at Samsung S6 Edge, it looks so darn ugly. The supposedly techie curving edge is nothing but a spoiler to the display. Due to reflection, the edge appears more to the obstructive than attractive, as now it has those reflective bars that blocks the display. Eeewww..

Joking aside I guess the colour must affect heat exchange and therefore have an impact on speed. OK, so in reality this would be incredibly small and less than the normal tolerances between "identical" devices, but I wonder which colour is in theory the fastest? Yes, long day at the office.
Seriously?

Stealth-black iPhone 5 is still the best looking phone Apple has made.

And American consumer tastes should fuel thicker iPhones with better battery life

Sadly Apple doesn't care. It wants battery life to be the main reason you upgrade.

Saw a 6+ with a THICK battery case the other day. That was one huge mofo.

Love my gold iPad Air and mini. I wanted my 6 plus in gold too but had to get space grey as that was the only colour in stock. However I draw the line at a gold laptop.

I love my gold iPhone 6 and I'm specifically waiting for Whirlpool to come out with their "sunset bronze" appliances to redo my kitchen. Stainless steel appliances are so common and boring now. These new appliances will have a warmer metallic hue that will go great with my french country glazed cabinets. Matte gold tones are very in style now so it's no surprise the matte gold tone electronics are doing well.
