[doublepost=1473770209][/doublepost]those photos look absolutely terrible but why live in reality when you can incubate safely inside the apple bubble

Any camera can take a decent picture with a saturated colour landscape, bright light, and lets not forget, being allowed that close to the action.

That was my point exactly. Be it an android or iPhone, posters will make grand calls just based on the brand.

You are right, most people do not care, they will buy the latest phone, with whatever camera it has. Apple themselves make a big think out of the camera on the iPhone, most of the recent markerting campaigns have forced on shot on iPhone . It's all markerting hype anyway. A smartphone just needs a good camera.

I get fantastic bokeh out of a 50mm f0.95......

You are spot on, just could not resist to be cheeky :p

lol. I guess I'm technically wrong. You CAN get bokeh.. just not very good at all at any distance from the subject. Not like you can with a 135, 200, 300, etc. With a 50mm you need to be almost (literally) on top of the subject.

A bit hyperbolic, don't you think? They're by no means amazing (oversaturation and post processing grain is quite noticeable to me, personally), but they are not even close to being "absolutely terrible", either.
