Wrong.
Tim Cook is lobbying on behalf of Apple and Apple's employees. That's part of his job, as it is with other tech CEOs. Everything he has taken a position on (privacy, equal rights for workers, the environment, DACA, immigration, etc) directly affects both, and it's his responsibility to make sure he's heard in Washington on those matters. I would be greatly disappointed if he and other tech CEOs (from google, Microsoft, Tesla, Salesforce, etc) remained silent.
The good news is, if the positions he takes in that endeavor are contrary to your beliefs, there are plenty of tech manufacturing companies out there to embrace and support with your $$$.
Wrong.
Tim Cook is abusing his position of CEO by Tim Cook is abusing his position as CEO to push his own political agendas. It's not part of his job. Tim Cook should be getting the government to push more resonable tech industry reform and other related reforms. That benefits Apple. That's not what is happening here. Tim Cook is just on his soap box attacking anything this federal government does. Tim Cook did not attack similar mistakes that Obama did. That's because he is biased Democrat.
Tim Cook is not fighting for Apple here. Tim Cook is attacking the current government, on issues unrelated to Apple.
I am not asking Tim Cook to stop. I am only saying he should do it on his own time, not Apple's time and stop involving the Apple employees in this.
We agree to disagree. Lets leave it at that.
