As CEO, I imagine the buck stops with Tim as to what gets developed into finished technologies and finished products, and what then gets produced for sale. Sometimes the best CEOs are those which give their teams the space and time to do what they do best.

Yep, he's the rubber stamp man. I just think if people are thanking someone for some great products, the people and teams who envisioned and created the products are the ones who deserve thanking.
Tim took over during a difficult time for Apple and did a remarkable job growing the value of the company and its products. He may not have driven the technology as fast as certain folks wanted, but he did a fantastic job as a CEO.

As soon as Apple releases something innovative or original. Tim Crook *definitely* would not have done that.
It's inevitable. Many people need a daily feel-good Apple slam, a 20 year tradition here. Apparently it's empowering.

Absolutely and the same would be true under Steve Jobs. Steve was just a rubber stamp man it’s the teams underneath that really did the work and made apple great.
Hopefully find my improves, plays less than 3 seconds and no more announcements that miss expected release date or never come out. Bye Timmy!

And propelling Apple to becoming one of the most successful consumer tech companies in the world. With 1+ Billion happy and repeat customers.

I bet all competitors of Apple would change places with them in a second if given the chance.
We already have. The one thing I’m most sure of about this transition is that it’s unlikely that folks that didn’t like Cook will like Ternus.

We now have three models of laptops with the "Air" and "Pro" lines each having two sizes or seven choices of the "laptop" device and multiple choices of memory and storage in each series.
We have mutliple sizes of iPads and iPhones with variations in both memory and processor power.
We have multiple watch sizes and configurations.
There are no "Intel" processors supported any more as the "A" and "M" series chips are running the show.
Apple is building more and more of the second tier gear for I/O.
When all of these sub parts are Apple designed, Apple will have completed vertical integration so the Apple operating system and components will operate as a fine tuned optimized device.
Steve dreamed of this reality and Tim nearly got that reality into place.
Lots of progress!

Tim's departure is going to be a great loss for Apple. He's been an incredible CEO and has helped guide Apple to heights never even dreamed of.
