And the Apple Watch is still useless.
Useless for you my friend. For me it's:
- The best device I've ever used for tracking my morning runs.
- The best device I've ever used for directions whilst cycling and walking.
- The best device I've ever used for geofence reminders.
- The best MP3 player I've ever used in the gym, whilst jogging and whilst cycling.
- It's an excellent watch, and the customisable complications means it is the most useful watch face I've ever owned.
Etc, etc.
I could say something stupid like the Mac Pro is useless as
I have no use for it, but I'm smarter than that, all about personal use cases.
What about aperture ?
Photos is an improvement on iPhoto , and a step backwards to aperture.
I'd argue the user is the looser, as they are told to use photos, removing choice.
I chose to continue using Aperture, still works just as well as it did pre-Photos app launch.
I also use Photos app for my partners photos, she prefers the simplicity of it to iPhoto and likes the fact it mimics the iPhone UI. It's easier for her to manage everything.
Good job we have choice. And with Photos extensions, I'm hoping eventually I will be able to ditch Aperture and move into Photos too.
