I always looked as Tim as an interim ceo , he’s no Steve jobs , more of a bean counter than an earth shaker like Steve
He has lots of free time. BBC has given him the boot or he quit due to BBC reducing his hours. Why is Paul O”Grady head of Apple ?
So what? One thing has nothing to do with another. It could be that "they care about privacy" to stand out from other companies so they can increase their profits not necessarily because "they care about privacy", but what do I know...Geesshh, they're doing business with an authoritarian dictatorship when they are the most profitable company on earth and could find so many other ways to produce their products.
All ceos are interim ceos. Unless you define interim as less than 15 years, all ceos exit the job at some point for one reason or another.I always looked as Tim as an interim ceo , he’s no Steve jobs , more of a bean counter than an earth shaker like Steve
Agreed, I know many have a specific contract period that has to be renewed. All ceos are interim ceos. Unless you define interim as less than 15 years, all ceos exit the job at some point for one reason or another.
Probably never happen...but I'd love to see Timtake an interview with MacRumors staff & posters. We could get his thinking on some of the great (and not so great) decisions he's made as C.E.O. as well as answers to some of the questions we constantly debate on this site.
There is often no debate. People hate him because he isn't Steve Jobs. Which is weird, because many people who actually knew SteveJobs, hated him.Probably never happen...but I'd love to see Timtake an interview with MacRumors staff & posters.
