It's not just his hands. Look at his arms, face, the whole body, his shirt (no that is not wind). Someone else recently made a post saying he looks sick. I didn't watch the keynote yesterday, but when this video started the first thing I noticed is the voice. He doesn't sound good, there's some minor fluctuation in his voice, it sounds off.

I hope he's ok, but I have seen exactly this before (Parkinson).
He’s fine. That is not PD, or anything abnormal. I noticed just a little bit of shaking, but it could be from something as simple as low blood sugar.

My brother works out a lot and can sometimes get the shakes. My mother has essential tremor, but this doesn’t impact her health (just her patience!). I don’t think it’s anything — just one of those things.

Also, keep in mind — if there was anything that cast him in an unfavorable light, there is no way he would have approved it.

People on here really don't understand how - unfortunately - getting an interview with someone like Tim Cook works these days. It's never going to be hard hitting. It will be completely micromanaged by the PR team - a short amount of time, questions seen/approved in advance, he'll have run through what to say and not say. Apple will have approved the final edit. And if you don't agree to that, then no interview - not exactly hard to find someone who will do it.

So I'm pretty sure Justine's choice was Apple's way vs. no interview. And it's pretty obvious what an independent YouTuber is going to choose.

iJustine is way too cringewortthy to watch, just sad actually to see the fake over hype attitude and strange excitement over a bland product launch.

Does she get this excited about annual refrigerators or washing machine releases? Smartphones today are just another type of appliance in our life. Nothing worth getting this excited over.

Calm the F down lady. It's just a phone.

That would require a modicum of maturity and thoughtfulness.

True. And this extends to pretty much, arguably, all current journalism for anything. Since access has become the key in getting news, people/companies with control of the access can control the news.

Thus there shouldn't be any expectation of any youtubers adding anything on top of the marketing materials.

I hate these kinds of interviews. Neither of those two come across as an actual human being having a conversation with another, they're both two marketing automatons, spouting buzz words at each other. iJustine in particular has this permanent 'I'M SO EXITED BY YOUR NEW PRODUCTS' smile on her face. Why can't people just have an actual conversation any more?

Is it just me noticing or Tim's hands are shaking uncontrolably? Not exactly the camera shy or nervous type...
You might be happy or not about the direction that Apple has taken under Tim, but he is a man who takes his job very seriously.
And there is no doubt that leading such a ship must drain your body enormously. Especially in times of releases and with the current in-court battles.
Maybe it is something serious, or maybe it is just a really exhausted man. I think the Apple perfectionism and spotlight takes a huge toll on the humans within.

Probably for the same reason why people here can't do the same thing, and instead leap to outlandish expectations about the video.

Being OUTRAGED at the drop of a hat is the new normal.

I have to agree. Maybe he was just sick with a bad cold and it was too cold for him (wear a sweater then!), but yeah… he didn’t look good.

Right. It's all about "reaction" and whatever gets the fastest and most clicks. It's even on broadcast "news": "ok, Karen, what's your reaction to Bob's comment just now?". Ugh.

Karen: "um, I don't care..? Bob's comment is the result of his own thoughtful analysis and opinions. Mine is similar. Back to you, Jim."
... ratings/viewership take a dive....

edit: same as we're all doing here. Reacting instead of producing. Because we bring the traffic and clicks/views.

I love Apple and their products but the iJustine stuff needs to stop. Its seriously cringe worthy listening to her giggle and fawn over everything Tim says. Let MKBHD do the interviewing. At least he can be critical where it needs to be and doesn’t just gush over everything Apple does.

That being said, I’m happy with the updates yesterday, especially the larger watch face of the series 7.
