But the new iPad mini… I’ve really been trying hard to think of an excuse to buy one! One of my colleagues may have come up with one, but I’ll wait for him to tell that story…

64 GB... not even funny....

When you guys start offering 128 as a base ad up to at least 512 then you can let me know, maybe you can get some of my money too....

Don't care for the content of the 'interview' but if Tim is having some health issues, that sucks. Parkinson's is awful.

LOL! Pathetic. "on par with professional high-end video equipment" - yes, with exactly the same messed-up focused/defocused areas like with any other software-only fake bokeh like that of the Portrait mode. Not any sane pro videographer would use an iPhone instead of some decent, large-sensor dedicated camera with proper workflow because they do NOT exhibit anything like this as they're hardware-only (real shooting-time focusing) and not software-only fake bokeh / blurring.

I've posted some examples of this from Apple's own demo video to https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/iphone-13-pro-cinematic-mode-being-pro-grade-bad-joke.2310995/
I no longer carry a quote high-end camera. What it actually comes down too, the audience. The vast majority of the audience, more than good enough quality. The producer, meet the audience at an acceptable quality with a cost, convenience benefit. Wow, the new iPhones deliver big time. All about the audience.

I’ve always liked iJustine. She’s completely harmless and is the last person who deserves any kind of hate. I find her positivity and enthusiasm genuine and infectious in a good way. I can understand everyone’s complaints but expecting her to ask Tim Cook hard hitting questions is like expecting Rated R content while watching a Disney movie. Not everyone is a grumpy jaded person who wants someone to scathe Apple, iJustine has always been genuinely enthusiastic about Apple for well over 15 years now. I don’t think it’s fake or that she’s on Apple’s “payroll” at all. She also uses and reviews Android phones and other tech products so she has a love for tech in general.

I wish I could still be enthusiastic like her and get excited by Apple products like I used to years ago. A big part of that magic for me died with Steve but I think I’ve just become jaded out by technology in general after realising how too much of it has become a bad thing for my mental health.

It's not just his hands. Look at his arms, face, the whole body, his shirt (no that is not wind). Someone else recently made a post saying he looks sick. I didn't watch the keynote yesterday, but when this video started the first thing I noticed is the voice. He doesn't sound good, there's some minor fluctuation in his voice, it sounds off.

I hope he's ok, but I have seen exactly this before (Parkinson).

I thought I read an article a while back discussing rumors of him retiring after they release VR. Maybe another few years left and off to retirement?

Retirement is one thing. He's 60 now, so that's reasonable. Health is something different. In the video something is off, I still hope he's ok. A former colleague of mine was diagnosed with Parkinson. It was hard to watch him change. He retired around 60 as well because of it. That was a couple of years ago, he's still somewhat "ok". Another former colleague retired at 65 and died two years later... brain aneurysm. No matter what Tim does, he should be able to enjoy his retirement (as should everyone).

The number of folks hating on iJustine here is crazy. If her name didn't give it away, she is a massive Apple fan (always has been). Her fandom can be a bit extreme like the time she was the first to buy that 200 dollar book from Apple called " Designed by Apple". It just had design pictures from previous iphones.......... for 200-300 bucks :(.

However, her actual video reviews of iphones and other apple and tech products are entertaining and informative. Plus, I had a friend who lives in Cali run into her at the Apple Store during the iPhone XS launch and said she was super sweet.

You can hear the vibrations in his voice and see it in his hands. I worked for 30 years at a medical school and learned to see those sort of things. Hopefully not bad but all the shakey diseases are bad. I can't stand her much, Apple hurray no. Cute though, I think her rack is bigger than it used to be. She can afford it

Not sure why people complain so much about iJustine. You don't have to like her videos. She's not a tech person (as in EE/CS), she's looking at things from a user perspective while being interested in tech. It's her job to make these videos and guess what, she's pretty good at it as 6.91M subscribers to her channel confirm.

Nah, it's because the interviewers are scared and are cowards. They know if they don't ask the easy PR-approved questions then their access will be revoked. This is why it's all BS.
Call it BS if you will, this is how the industry works. It has nothing to do with interviewers being scared. They're invited to these events (online now due to Covid) and are allowed to ask questions about the event that just happened, nothing else. It doesn't matter where you go, media event, product release, movie premiere, TV show, you name it. It's all the same. If you go off book, it's the last time you're invited. If you think that's why they're scared or cowards think again, they're making a living out of it. So jeopardizing your own career is not a smart idea.
