Do you really think Apple's global reach is due to Tim Cook and not anything from Steve Jobs' legacy?
Of course there was apple history prior to Tim Cook. But he gets the credit in growing apple.
I am not saying Tim hasn't done squat as the CEO of Apple; in fact, he has made this company a real moneymaker. But Apple's foundation is the unwavering loyalty of fans from constant innovation. And the profits he generate from sale of hardwares and Apple service is not something that will last forever.
Another apple is doomed post?
At some point, he will have to introduce a groundbreaking products/services to continue to make Apple a sustainable business.
He has been. I’m not going to list them but since 2011 new products, services and hardware has been offered.
Tim thought those were AR/VR and Cars. We will see how he does, but if he fails, Apple will become like Intel and Microsoft before Nadella; living off the old success and facing slow death.
Ok, then that’s what will happen.

I could see him being concerned about "hate speech"--I, myself, couldn't care less about "hate speech"--but he really said a nice thing about his time/future at Apple.
