Looks more like badge/pin? Maybe an AI Communicator like the one on (Star Trek) you can tap and talk to.
Best take yet."the newest member of the family" ?
Hmm - M4, M4 Pro, M4 Max.. -> M4 ULTRA???
Potentially just a quick post as they’ve smoothed things over with Musk/X? Would be an odd coincidence that Apple resumes advertising yesterday, he makes the post today and Musk reshared it…Would Tim Cook really make an announcement like this for an AirTag update?
A new SE would be expected but has he done this for that product before?
Hmm that graphic does awfully look like an AirTag
It looks a little bit like the shape of the underside of Mac mini, but the corners of the min are more rounded.
Also, the warped reflection of the image almost looks like a camera aperture (bottom left) and flash (top right).
My guess it is a new AirTag that you can peel off and use it in many applications including remotes.
Newest member of the family. I don’t think it’s AirTags, iPhoneSE, those are all already in the family. Think a new product will be launched.
Maybe a game console? A lot of games are releasing on the Mac App Store this month.
Maybe it's not a release but a preview of the rumoured new Home device?
Home smart hub?
HomePod with screen
The image is square so could be the new smart home controller.
Yeah, that's not true at all. While Buffet did sell shares, Apple is still Berkshire Hathaway's largest holding.Warren Buffett already lost confidence in Tim.
I've been around here long enough that while I love the speculation, and the anticipation a teaser like this generates, I have also learned that it hardly ever turns out to be as exciting as imagined… And is usually on the more mundane end of the scale 🫤
When all is said and done, Apple use the various channels at their disposal to hype many of their product launches, whether or not they are groundbreaking (and there have been many such of the latter – I'm just not sure this time is will be so).
Tim is in fact updating to v1.3A new CEO. Tim will announce his retirement on Wednesday.
you mean 1.3.1 - can't forget the minor version required to patch the security gaps in Tim's alignment.Tim is in fact updating to v1.3
Reminds me of looking down on the UFO style AirPort Extreme.
In a social media post today, Apple CEO Tim Cook teased an upcoming "launch" of some kind scheduled for Wednesday, February 19.
... to launchThey’ve hired Elon Musk.
