It is far from a joke. Just because you disagree with some of the actions the company has taken, doesn't mean its a joke. These kinds of posts being made in this forum are incredibly unhelpful and do not contribute to a meaningful nor constructive discourse.

A change in CEO won't change Apple's focus on AI. I don't know why people keep asking for or seeking his resignation when whoever takes over from Cook will likely just follow in his footsteps. Cook's tenure as Apple CEO has taken the company from being valued at $348-364 billion under Jobs to a company that is worth $4.06 trillion dollars as of stock close, and has resulted in over 2.5 billion active Apple devices (internet connected) being in use today. There is not a snowball's chance in hell that the CEO who succeeds Cook will deviate from Cook's vision of the company due to the immense amount of shareholder value that Cook has created.

This is wrong, considering it has been reported that Apple's OS releases this year will focus on quality and stability, akin to iOS 12 in 2018, iOS 9 in 2015, and Mac OS X Snow Leopard in 2009. I agree that the software quality of Apple's platforms, mainly iOS, isn't as robust as it used to be, but this has been a common pattern of Apple's operating systems - they add hundreds of new features over the span of a few years, and then spend an annual cycle going over their OSes with a fine toothed comb to improve stability and quality. This is especially the case when Apple introduces a new design language / design overhaul.

Apple's operating systems aren't as simple as they once were, which leads to bugs and quirks that may not have existed back when their operating systems were far simpler and less complex & filled with features. Apple's not oblivious to this, which is why after a few years they spend an annual cycle doing a massive polish pass over their OSes while introducing a limited number of features.

Hey now. That's way too generous. Can't have employees have too much or it'll get to their heads.
Apple will bury them in a land fill south of Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Instead Tim and the board has a $20M bonus package prepared for senior executives, a further $300B stock buyback program, oh.. and a 50th anniversary Mac keychain for the plebs.
