My Time Machine backup is to a Synology NAS and I'm trying to restore some directories from a few months ago. I go into Time Machine, scroll back to the date, it sits there loading for a few minutes and then it scrolls back by itself to a backup from yesterday. It won't let me select anything older than yesterday.
Using an M1 MBA.
My iMac also backs up to the same share on the same NAS and I can successfully restore older files on there so I don't think it's related to the backup being on a NAS.
I've run a 'verify backup' by holding down option while I select the backup and it all seems OK.
Does anyone have any other suggestions please?
