Time Warner Adds Channels From Fox and Discovery Back to iPad App

"We apologize for the inconvenience, but the TWCable TV iPad app is not currently available to our Hawaii customers. We are working on making the app available in Hawaii, but this will take some time."

:( Mahalo for nothin' TWC! LOL

Oh well, there are other diversions in Hawaii that make up for it I guess.

I've been using the EyeTV App on my iPad when I want to catch a program. It works pretty well for live TV. The only issue is when you have a recording scheduled at the same time. There is only one tuner, so it changes the channel on you to record the scheduled show...
 
Two weeks after pulling channels from Viacom, Discovery, and Fox from its new iPad application that allows the company's cable and Internet subscribers to watch live TV on the device, Time Warner has announced that Discovery and Fox have rejoined the lineup.

Would it be possible to trick the cablevision app to think it is on their wifi so it can work on 3g/other wifi? (most likely jbed ipad of coarse)
 
some very eloquent discriminatory comments on third age here, lol. You can only get away with such discrimination obviously because we are talking about older people, had it been jews, blacks, gays, dykes, midgets (etc.) everyone would be up in arms about it, but I guess third age is something one can easily mock and get away with it.

In a bar in toledo, alone on the depot on bar stool she put down her ipad! LOL!!!:D

(btw so much for my comment at not poking discriminatory fun on older people... I wish we were a little less pc with other segments of the population too.)
 
Quality Channels!!!!

I have over 600 channels of mostly @#$$ channels on Comcast but the channels mentioned here are a handful of the very few channels that make it worthwhile.

Regardless of what is getting added to the app, I'm glad that Time Warner is pushing ahead with this. So long as streams are only viewable while on a customer's home WiFi network, the argument that the iPad is simply acting as another screen should win the day.

(couldn't resist the lame pun, exactly because it is so lame). maybe that's why he was getting hang up about lucille's husband and their kids instead of taking here to the next motel and copulating her brains out.

I like the picture plus it matches with the channels. Also didn't I read somewhere about ipad being a computer for everyone (Woz?) so why should that exclude people based on age etc. Lastly does being a certain age mean that tech and communication advances no longer apply to individuals. If thats the case we're all in trouble sooner or later.
