That's interesting about you saying the screen is better than your 2009 one - how is it better?

My '09 has pretty noticeable yellowing along the bottom edge (particularly in the lower right corner) and was quite blue in the upper left corner. My new iMac, while not absolutely perfect, is far, far better with respect to color uniformity. If the "yellow tint" effect wasn't something I was spring-loaded to look for, I'd have never noticed the very slight color gradient on my new iMac.

Honestly, the uniformity of my new iMac is so good that I can't be completely sure that the very slight "gradient" I perceive isn't simply a figment of my imagination. :)

Not worth risking a replacement in my opinion since you otherwise have a perfect unit. I guarantee if you had a yellow screen, you would no doubt rather have a small chip on the aluminum instead of an imperfect screen.
