Well i think that the iPad 2 is a very good tablet.i'm not tired but i'm not using it alot. And that's because my ipod touch 4g is smaller and i can just grab it and use it.i can take it everywhere and putted in my bag.ohh i can't decide:confused::confused::confused:

There seem to be two motivations attributed to apple for lack of support: users would be confused and unjustifiably lash out at apple for a bad experience, and apple does this to strong-arm the rest of the industry.

The first reason shows that apple has an incredibly condescending attitude towards it's customers, and a comically excessive fear of criticism.

The second one shows that apple is a market bully who somehow knew they'd succeed spectacularly with the iPad, and they wanted to use their power to crush their loathsome flash enemy.

Neither of these sounds terribly convincing to me. In the end, as someone who wants to get the most out of his investment, I'll go with the tablet maker that meets my needs. I need flash. It sucks. But, there is nothing I can do about it. If apple is still playing it's silly games next time I am purchasing a tablet, I don't plan on sacrificing my experience and hard earned money to support them. I imagine other consumers will reach a similar conclusion.

It's too bad, because there is lots to love about apple. But, their quirks (not the potential of the iPad and os) get tiring. I use the iPad all of the time now, but I can envision a flashy future without it.

Yep, this is the bottom line. You go with the product that meets your needs. Also, web designers may change what they do to better accommodate users with tablets.

My iPad usage hasn't declined since the the iPad 1 was released. I use my iPad 2 just as much. My iPhone usage is what declined. When I first used the iPad 1, and I bought on the release date... it was strange using a big device in public. I would pull my iPhone out because I didn't feel comfortable... although... I did prefer the larger screen. Now days, I pull out my iPad 2 everywhere in public... and at times... I'm not the only one.:)

we can only hope! but, a lot of sites still use frames, coding is atrocious, and java problems abound. i don't want to rely on thousands of web monkeys to get it right, because they won't. like i said, i don't want to use their sites, but sometimes i have to :(

But this will always be the case. Even if there were a magic replacement for Flash tomorrow, there would still be crappy sites and poor implementation of various Web tools.

For those of you have have an iPad 2, do you still use it as much as the first couple of weeks when you bought it? Has some of the newness worn off? I know typically the excitement of something cool and new can only last so long but do you guys still find it as fun to use or after a few months or has it lost some of it's luster and only gets used on occasion?

This is one thing I have loved about the iPhone and the iPad, they never get old to me. I started with the first iPhone and I always upgrade to the new models as they come out, same thing with the iPad. These things never get old to me. I am always finding new ways of having fun or entertaining myself with them. It's almost become a competition between my fiancé and I to see how often we can find a new situation to use our iPhones or IPads for.

I wasn't tired of my iPad2, but it got tired of me. I kept poking at it and finally it got fed up and moved out. :D

Now it is camping out in the back yard, and carefully watches it's own weather app to be sure it doesn't get caught in the rain. I know it won't wander far, as my WiFi is the only one it has access to in the neighborhood. ;)

My iPhone and laptop usage is what has declined!

I was without my iPad 2 for one full week (long story which resulted in a new replacement iPad 2). I felt like my right arm had been cut off. I am stunned that it has become so much a part of my every day life.

I am in the minority here but I actually haven't touched my ipad 1 in a few months and dont really miss it.

I find I use my work laptop for most of my daily surfing and dont turn it on at night when I am back at the hotel (when I travel for work). When I am home I either use my work laptop or my desktop - in between I have my iphone.

I just dont have the time to fit the ipad into my life, it would take away time I could be spending doing other things. Dont get me wrong, I love it - its a cool device. But I just dont have a need for it since most of my computing revolves around work.

yep. that's my point. steve can try and shove the world into his procrustean bed all he likes, but it won't fit. if he just put a toggle feature in the browser i could turn it on for those sites. but, he refuses to do it, and the annoyance is tiring me out.
