To Caudabe or not to Caudabe!

Really hoping Caudabe aren't about to let everyone down again, noticed the shipping spreadsheet has changed for the 'open' sheaths - it was saying they were all going to ship the week of 11/24 (including all the backlog of orders), now it's saying the backlog will be cleared by the week of 12/1. I know it's only another week but the phone has been out for two months now(!).
Words cannot express how much I dislike this company, it's just awkward because their products are still the best IMO.

They are very slightly off center, it's barely noticeable. However I also noticed the buttons do have a very *slight* rattle if I shake my phone. Both issues aren't noticeable in everyday use, so I'll live with them.
I got one of the first 17 Pro Sheaths. Buttons rattled bad. Contacted them and they said they were aware and making a better batch of buttons for the case. Got the new buttons the other day. They still rattle pretty much the same. Camera cutouts are close, but slightly off.
I contacted them again with video and they asked for another with the phone in the case. Ok I get it. But it’s the same. Send that along next. I’ve always liked Caudabe, but this year I think I’m just gonna stick with the Tech Woven from Apple.

Damn that sucks. My 17 Pro Max replacement buttons came and I don’t hear any rattle during normal usage. The rattle is essentially nonexistent now: My Review

I just got my replacement buttons today.
The case is now silent with the phone in it. When I give it a shake all I can hear is the camera. The new buttons are still just as clicky and responsive.

And we know what Caudabe's definition of "early December" means (anything up to the 15th).
Considering the original shipping date for the open cutout versions was given as "mid-October", they really have let a lot of people down.
No excuses for QC when it comes to these either - they've had plenty of time to resolve the button rattling, the off-centre cutouts and visible seams considering they're supposedly coming off the production line this week.

I pulled the trigger on Paragon Moonstone open camera area cut out for my 17 pro. According to the website:

Yes most likely. The 2.5 buttons are the correct ones for the Sheath. The new buttons are tight, no rattles. Reach out to support, I’m sure they’ll make it right!
I asked about their Garnet Red that they had for the iPhone 15 but sadly they won’t be coming out with that color.

These cases are nice! Sure, it takes some time for them to ship them out, but these are the best protective cases on the market, IMHO.
Anyone had notification of their 'open' sheaths shipping today/yesterday? Was supposed to be week of the 24th.

Caudabe just updated their website. If you order an 'open' Sheath today it won't ship until early-January (i.e. as late as 15th January) now.

I ordered open Paragon Moonstone for 17 pro. It was supposed to ship late November (this week). Now updated to early December. Yikes! I messaged them on Instagram. Their reply last night:
We sincerely apologize for the delay in shipping your order. Our latest shipment has experienced delays in customs clearance, due in part to the recent government shutdown. U.S. Customs has unfortunately been a bit inconsistent in their processing speed recently.
That said, we do anticipate that inventory will arrive at our Cincinnati warehouse within the next 3-5 days, and we'll ship your order ASAP once it arrives.
Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Yep. They sent me 2.5 buttons and I just got them today. These buttons are snug and don’t rattle. Even with the phone out of the case.
They may be slow as snails at time, but they’ll always make it right with their customers.
Anyone from the UK ordered anything in the past two weeks and had a shipping notification (or even a delivery?)
Still waiting for my Open Sheath I ordered 21st December. It's been showing as in stock for past two weeks and still quotes "2-4 days" for delivery. Caudabe even told me they have stock in the UK warehouse and it just needs to be fulfilled.
Absolutely frustrating company.
