u dont even know what it looks like
yes i do. i like the booq better and it provides more protection.
i think iv decided to return the incase for now. i like my booq case and the look and feel of my new mbp the way they are now.
no doubt it looks nice man. i still think a naked mbp looks better. and i like my booq sleeve a lot. i always put it inside a backpack so thats why i don't need a handle or anything.
but yeah man, does look good.
i dunno man i think my speck seethru clear on my 15inch 2011 macbook pro anti glare looks pretty SEXY
Looks like a Macbook with too much makeup![]()

its a clear transparent plastic case, it doesnt cover anything "aestically" LLOL
covers the matte grey finish in gloss. covers its design slightly by adding more bulk.
nice case but I'm not sold. i like the look of it better than the perforated case i got and returned but i don't think id like the extra weight on the screen and i don't like how speck cases have barely any vent holes on the bottom.
Repectfully, the best gift you could give yourself is to get help with your OCD. You'll enjoy life more and cease obsessing over "What if".
If you've got to cover up a gorgeous new Mac with a Speck, you will never enjoy it as Apple designed it to be used.
Companies that make these things are profiting over your obsession. The answer is not to spend more money only to find things wrong with the Speck also. There's no such thing as perfection. You're only making yourself crazy.
Believe it or not, it's _only_ a computer. It's also replaceable if damaged, broken or stolen.
In a word - Relax.
this is very true. easier said than done though. I'm in college and not made of money. in fact I'm in debt over this computer. I'm paying 1400 of the 2400 i spent on it off. if i had money to just replace it i wouldn't be as ocd with it.
but idk I'm gonna see how i feel about it at about christmas time and buy another case then if i feel like it. also the case and guards do help when you go to sell the machine cuz it keeps everything fresh. thats another reason why i sometimes buy into all the protection.

i give up on you and your OCD
i give up on you and your OCD
didn't you also have multiple layers of protection around your MBP?
lol. this is a funny thread.
enjoy the sleeve. and, enjoy your naked mbp. as long as you are careful with it, i guess naked is fine, but if you are really that ocd, i don't see what a sleeve does for you. it protects the computer in your backpack, which is arguably the safest place already. so, when it falls off your desk, don't come here asking us how to fit a speck case onto a dented computer
naked is fine. whatever. but, given your obsession, it seems kind of like a guy who is scared of heights going base jumping every day!
um yeah dude u have a palm guard, keyboard cover, and a hard case on your macbook. you have no room to talk. I'm just trying to figure out the best solution for me.
not really i don't have like bad ocd or anything. i know some people that are like crazy ocd and HAVE to do certain things or they feel crazy. i don't HAVE to do anything. sure i might be slightly more concerned with the cosmetics of my brand new mbp than the average joe but that doesn't make me crazy ocd.
and btw your backpack is not the safest place...when I'm at school people will walk buy and accidentally kick my bag. then at a friends someone won't know a laptop is in there and throw my bag in a corner or something. traveling is probably the least safe place...when my mbp is sitting on my desk i feel its least vulnerable because I'm careful with it.
i might get a case, i might not. but for now I'm sporting my booq sleeve and a naked mbp and I'm loving it.

LOL what a tool

speck sethru, moshi palmgaurd nd cleargaurd. i use my macbook regularly and normally without worrying about anything so no ocd
says the dude who repeatedly posts in my thread and post pictures of his mbp as if we care. I'm using my mbp right now and not worrying about it. I'm just trying to think for the future when i go to sell my macbook if its worth using a case now, or just keeping my booq and naked mbp which i like.
I too suffer from OCD but have improved a lot through treatment called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or CBD. You don't even need face to face therapy to do it, just start off by researching it a little. If you need a place to start, buy the book "Brain Locked". It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, but it was more than 110% worth it. I live life free now, my obsessions have really lessened. I know it sounds crazy, but Google for it, it changed my life. If you have any questions, send me a PM. Just know that it's definitely a challenge, but completely do-able.
And RandomRazr, you are to say the least, an ******* who is no help to anybody on these forums. All you do is post your youtube videos, and call people idiots. You're a high-school kid who has no idea of how the world works, even if you are a "grown-up". People treat you the way you treat them, so grow a pair and learn to be respectful. OCD is very hard to deal with, and the way you talk to people who ask simple questions is really unnecessary.
