yes i do. i like the booq better and it provides more protection.

if you have a hard case you wont need that extra protection you get from the booq, you already said you cant fit the hard case in the booq so you already know you can have both

either ditch the hard case or get a biger sleave

i think iv decided to return the incase for now. i like my booq case and the look and feel of my new mbp the way they are now.

no doubt it looks nice man. i still think a naked mbp looks better. and i like my booq sleeve a lot. i always put it inside a backpack so thats why i don't need a handle or anything.

but yeah man, does look good.

there is no handle on the incase sleeve?

and true i take the speck case off from time to time to enjoy the macbook the way it is but, for normal usage, its so much easier to use it and carrying it and placing it on anything with the speck case on. dont have tow orry about it getting damaged or nicked or anything

its a clear transparent plastic case, it doesnt cover anything "aestically" LLOL

covers the matte grey finish in gloss. covers its design slightly by adding more bulk.

nice case but I'm not sold. i like the look of it better than the perforated case i got and returned but i don't think id like the extra weight on the screen and i don't like how speck cases have barely any vent holes on the bottom.

holy crap man so picky

speck is the best you can get with a hardshell.

im happy with a matte or glossy look, both show off the macbook pro.

bulk? its form fitting and keeps the overall sleek look of the macbook. doesnt hide anything

i dont understand ur ISSUE with weght on the screen. its plastic, it doesnt add barely any weight on it. so...whats the problem???

the macbook pros VENTS are behind the hinge. the majority of the heat escapes there, thats why the back is always warm-hot depending on usage.

some heat dispates through the body, but not much.

im not forcing you to get this but im just standing by my purchases as i did extebsive research on what to protect this beauty with.

you've been disconcerning about everythign people have gave u on what the hell to get.

go ahead and sport the macbook the way it is. if u get a big dent one of these days, dont say i told you so

i like the case as well. its probably my top choice right now. but its not perfect for me, no case is. but i can't return my booq sleeve and it sucks it won't fit with a case on the mbp.

but i still do like the mbp naked as its sexiest that way no matter what.

Repectfully, the best gift you could give yourself is to get help with your OCD. You'll enjoy life more and cease obsessing over "What if".

If you've got to cover up a gorgeous new Mac with a Speck, you will never enjoy it as Apple designed it to be used.

Companies that make these things are profiting over your obsession. The answer is not to spend more money only to find things wrong with the Speck also. There's no such thing as perfection. You're only making yourself crazy.

Believe it or not, it's _only_ a computer. It's also replaceable if damaged, broken or stolen.

In a word - Relax.

this is very true. easier said than done though. I'm in college and not made of money. in fact I'm in debt over this computer. I'm paying 1400 of the 2400 i spent on it off. if i had money to just replace it i wouldn't be as ocd with it.

but idk I'm gonna see how i feel about it at about christmas time and buy another case then if i feel like it. also the case and guards do help when you go to sell the machine cuz it keeps everything fresh. thats another reason why i sometimes buy into all the protection.

I do understand believe me. I value my new MBP's & MBA's too.

But why save it as new for the next guy? Why think about resale?

It's _yours_ to enjoy.

Do what I do, just be careful.

You don't have to baby it, because you're not the type to abuse it anyway. :)

i give up on you and your OCD

lol. this is a funny thread.

enjoy the sleeve. and, enjoy your naked mbp. as long as you are careful with it, i guess naked is fine, but if you are really that ocd, i don't see what a sleeve does for you. it protects the computer in your backpack, which is arguably the safest place already. so, when it falls off your desk, don't come here asking us how to fit a speck case onto a dented computer :)

naked is fine. whatever. but, given your obsession, it seems kind of like a guy who is scared of heights going base jumping every day!

i give up on you and your OCD

didn't you also have multiple layers of protection around your MBP?

um yeah dude u have a palm guard, keyboard cover, and a hard case on your macbook. you have no room to talk. I'm just trying to figure out the best solution for me.

not really i don't have like bad ocd or anything. i know some people that are like crazy ocd and HAVE to do certain things or they feel crazy. i don't HAVE to do anything. sure i might be slightly more concerned with the cosmetics of my brand new mbp than the average joe but that doesn't make me crazy ocd.

and btw your backpack is not the safest place...when I'm at school people will walk buy and accidentally kick my bag. then at a friends someone won't know a laptop is in there and throw my bag in a corner or something. traveling is probably the least safe place...when my mbp is sitting on my desk i feel its least vulnerable because I'm careful with it.

i might get a case, i might not. but for now I'm sporting my booq sleeve and a naked mbp and I'm loving it.

holy cow. what is your backpack doing on the floor!? what are your so-called friends doing with your backpack!?

i gotta say that if your backpack is any indication of things, your naked computer is going to be looking pretty battered soon.

me? my mbp is safe at home, on the desk, in a hard case, and my ipad is in my man bag - it's my main work device :)

if i do take the mbp outfor a peregnation, it goes in my booq backpack and no one gets near it.

says the dude who repeatedly posts in my thread and post pictures of his mbp as if we care. I'm using my mbp right now and not worrying about it. I'm just trying to think for the future when i go to sell my macbook if its worth using a case now, or just keeping my booq and naked mbp which i like.

because i was tyring to help you but its obvious u cant be helped with ur obessive compulsive disorder.

so u just got ur macbook and thinking of selling it in the future already? LOL

whatever man do whatever u want, its ur mac. as the previous guy said, dont come crying back to us asking if a speck case will fit when u have a dent in ur macbook

I too suffer from OCD but have improved a lot through treatment called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or CBD. You don't even need face to face therapy to do it, just start off by researching it a little. If you need a place to start, buy the book "Brain Locked". It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, but it was more than 110% worth it. I live life free now, my obsessions have really lessened. I know it sounds crazy, but Google for it, it changed my life. If you have any questions, send me a PM. Just know that it's definitely a challenge, but completely do-able.

And RandomRazr, you are to say the least, an ******* who is no help to anybody on these forums. All you do is post your youtube videos, and call people idiots. You're a high-school kid who has no idea of how the world works, even if you are a "grown-up". People treat you the way you treat them, so grow a pair and learn to be respectful. OCD is very hard to deal with, and the way you talk to people who ask simple questions is really unnecessary.
