I will upgrade my 6s to a 8 or 8+. I hate how slippery the aluminium back is so, is it better with the glass back?

If he/she hasn’t ordered it already then they aren’t getting it delivered tomorrow. So they can just go see for themselves.
I agree it's best to try for oneself, but remember that not everyone on this planet lives close to an Apple Store or even in a city. Also, a store impression doesn't really compare to real world usage. I'll follow this thread because this is a main reason I might upgrade (grip and durability).

Thanks. FYI, some people don’t read every single story on the front page. No need for the eye rolling/attitude.

Also, the article doesn’t say anywhere that Apple said there are plentiful supplies.

I can’t imagine not putting a case on this phone, it looks so fragile now with the glass back.

Good to know. The 6 is the first time I had to keep a case on my iPhone. Before then I had one or 2 but rarely used it.

Just in case I bought a Cosmos Blue leather one. Looks nice. But man is it out of my comfort zone! I’ve had a black leather for the last 3 years.

I actually played with space Gray iPhone 8 at my job today. Absolutely love the color. Definitely getting it for the 10. The 8 wasn't slippery at all tbh. Still recommend a case tho

I have the phone with me now, can confirm it's less slippery compared to the iPhone 6s plus.

Just my two cents worth, but it's not slippery at all. When you hold it you are actually gripping the aluminium sides, not the glass and they are not slippery in the slightest. I just deliberately held it by the front and rear glass, and even then it's not slippery for me, but I don't have sweaty/greasy fingers either.

And these things are getting quite expensive. A case helps protect what is a pretty hefty investment for your average person.

I would imagine it is, with the glass backing allowing a better grip. The aluminum can be slippery at times in the hands from my experiences.
