Ok, what case isn't a throw away case? Lol, are you going to use the iPad 2 for the rest of your life or something?

Oh you're a smart one..I am not the one asking about warranties and leather conditioner so maybe you meant this for them. I think you will find alot of people here are trying to retrofit more expensive cases from iPad1 to iPad2, so not ALL cases are considered throw aways.

But to crush your pointless point..This case is undoubtedly a throwaway which has it's advantages for some buyers I would imagine. My point is sound, people use forums to make decisions on purchases for lots of accessories, and the weaknesses of this case should be noted for people to make an informed buying decision. Take for example the bouncing up and down I am experiencing as a type this response.

If your looking for a high quality case with "Napa" leather etc look elsewhere, this case is mediocre, decent value, limited functionality, great service.

In the end, we eventually we throw everything away so lets not focus on quality and function of anything with your logic.

the reason why people would "retrofit" their ipad 1 cases, is that at the end of a product cycle, the case will retain 20% of it original value at best, it's better to reuse yesteryear's case than throwing it away. plus, at the end of the day, all these cases are just no name brands (the more expensive ones included unless its LV gucci etc), very few people outside of this forum will care.
they wish they could throw away the more expensive ones, but they can't, they paid 150+ dollars for it.
and honestly i do not see you've made any point? bouncing up and down? i do not experience that at all, in fact, a few amazon reviewers noted that this case is relatively stable in the lowest typing position. did you simply watch the toblino ipad 1 case review and find some random complaints that do not really apply to the second generation version?
and you know, next year when the ipad3 comes out, i am going to throw this case away and buy the toblino for ipad 3, instead of trying to retrofit something that's not even designed for the product and end up making the whole thing look stupid.

Good luck with your case dongdong.. And I wish all the best with your iPad3 that you already have your heart set on. I mean maybe you will get lucky and the iPad3 will have the same form factor and you can use the Toblino 2 case, assuming it holds up for you.

Me, I am headed out to trade in my car for a baseline piece of crap with cloth and no A/C and roll down windows. Then I am going to look a the previous years model and review it based on that.

Peace out

I just got the case today & I like it. Yes, the leather is tight right now & takes a little doing to manipulate but I think that will easily work itself out. I'm happy with the case & will write more after having it a few more days.

iFrogz has a nice case coming out that functions the same way as the Toblino has more positions, NO bezel coverage etc..Not released yet but looks promising for the person attracted to this style case. Reasonably priced as well.

The replacement case that I've received is perfect. No issue at all. Now I am very happy with it. Best customer service I've ever dealt with.

Just got my ipad2 3G 64gb yesterday and my toblino case.At first I regretted my order, an issue with the 6 clips, and was wanting the switcheasy canvas or the yoobao leather case. The switch easy was out of stock, until the minute after amazon shipped the toblino and the yoobao was getting tons of bad reviews about being toxic and magnet issues. Recieved iPad and case together and this toblino is really nice a good smelling leather a slim fit with a hard protective case. What's funny though is that It now feels about as heavy as my daughters 11" MacBook airs. Anyway it's a case and it works well. The bottom clips not an issue, typing position and viewing positions are great.

Skymall

I said I would post some pictures and stuff when we had them available. Here are the four color cases that will be available Mid-May. We are going to be running this ad in July's Skymall, so look for the Toblino on your future flights.

Robert, I am well pleased with my Toblino 2 case. The new colors also look good. Are you guys still going to do the Argyle version?

Thanks

This is a very nice case

Just received this case today from Amazon and I am very pleased.

I had the Marware CEO for iPad and was pleased, but I believe the quality of this case is better and I much prefer the leather look to the carbon fiber.

Some people have commented that having to unclip the bottom is a problem for them. I consider it preferable to the Marware I had which slipped out too easy. This made it "flop" around when trying to hold it in your hand like a book. The slightly tighter clips make it much more secure when in this configuration. Really, it is not difficult at all to unclip. Robert....please do not change this aspect.

I am really impressed with the feel of the leather and the stitching makes it look very high quality. It smells good, not that chemical smell that plagues some other cases.

The leather is somewhat stiff and has already relaxed a little with use. It does NOT bounce up and down as I type this. The stiffness actually seems to give it multiple low angle positions by simply pressing it down a little harder.

Again, I really did like my Marware CEO but I feel this is a superior.

Good work!

thanks for the info HungryNoggin...just wondering, how do you think the Toblino would do with a fron+back skin on it? will it be a tighter or less tighter fit than Marware CEO?

I have invisible shield on both sides of my iPad 1 and it works great with the Toblino 1. I don't have an iPad2 with a protector on it yet, so I can't tell you for sure. But the designs are almost identical, so I don't anticipate a problem.

Yes, we still plan to produce them. We were just not sure they would be ready by the time this ad was released so they were not included.

will it peel off?

Robert, could you answer how the Toblino 2 will do with Ghost Armor on the front and back of the ipad 2? I am on the virge of purchasing it...just want to be somewhat sure it wont peel it off!

Thanks!

I don't have any Ghost Armor at my office. All I have to go on is my Toblino 1 with the Invisible Shield on both sides and it works great. The Toblino 2's design is pretty much the same, so I think you should be fine.

I am sorry I don't have any more info for you.

Thanks for this reassuring confirmation. I will be pairing my Toblino2 with the BSE front and back.

How can I get it in Canada?

I ordered this Toblino 2 a while back...they made ONE exception to ship to Canada..now i'm just waiting for it. It's really the best case out there. I can't wait to get it!!!

Who made the exception? Where did you order it from?

Anybody knows how to get it in Canada?
