Why they tried to wrap leather around those tight corners, I'll never know. I'd much prefer if they'd used rubber/plastic corners instead. Those corners caused me to hang this case right back up where I found it and move on.

What happened? Did they get scratched up badly?

In leather, the only other color we have is pink: link here

Red and White leather will be available about the second week of June.

We have microfiber exterior cases in 4 other colors:

Turquoise
Lime Green
Orange
Pink

I believe these microfiber cases are going to be limited quantity only.

I have bad news about the Argyle, I don't think we are going to produce it. We just have too many issues and we want high quality cases or not do it at all. I know this will make Adexis very sad as well.

Robert. Can u help plonk one of those microfiber cases on a scale and let me know how much they weigh pls? Thanks.

I am getting 9.9oz on my scale.

Thanks for that Robert. In that case, it's not the leather which is weighing your cases down, it's the EVA. I use the same stuff for the grip of my fishing rods, and while they weigh more, it's a very tough material and they hold their shape and bounce a long time, even with sun and seawater spray thrown in.

I know these comments come a little late and that your company probably has a million cases in the warehouse ready to be shipped out. But for the iPad 3 case, perhaps you can choose another cushioning material that is not so "hardcore" and weighs a little less. Sorry about this, but for a device the weighs a little more than 600g, every gram from the case counts.

One last suggestion would be to get rid of that large clasp on the front cover and rely on magnets to keep the case shut.

If you can shave the weight by 50g or more, and lose the front clasp, you should be able to make a superb case out of an already great one.

Once more, I have to re-iterate that the leather used in your cases is of good quality and the stitching is done very evenly. That's good QC! As compared to other companies that boasts of American craftsmanship and who charges an arm + a leg for their cases.

Thanks for the suggestions. I do have some samples without a clasp and the magnets are just not strong enough. It was a little too easy to unintentionally open the case (as it is with the Apple case). We just thought it worked better with the clasp.

Just got it. Have to say, not that impressed. Yes the protection is great and it's nice but using the iPad with it on is a pain in the ass. I rate it a 6/10

In case anyone was waiting, our red and white leather cases went on sale this week:

Hi, quick question, can you use this case with a BSE installed? Any help is appreciated.

I don't have use a screen protector any more, but it worked with the Toblino with my iPad 1. Any one else use a screen protector with the Toblino 2?

Just got my toblino 2 and noticed that there is no microfiber over the latch. Is this a design change? Does not seem to be a problem but I wonder if I should be concerned about scratches on the aluminum.

Yes, that was a design change because many were complaining the about microfiber was coming loose. We have tested hundreds of times and have sold several thousand of the redesigned cases and have not received a complaint about it scratching the aluminium.

Yes I do work for them and I understand you have to take anything like that with a grain of salt. But I subscribed to the thread and wanted to be available to answer any questions on this forum.

You are right. My mother in law dropped my iPad today and it would have been a really sad day for me if the front cover had popped open and if the screen had gotten scratched. Clasp = good!

The BSE front screen protector lives happily w this case but not the back body protector (whachamacallit). The clasp causes the film to peel. Something I learnt to live with by cutting out a small clearance where the clasp meets the iPad.

That is a great story, I am glad it worked out for you. We plan to keep it in future versions.

Just ordered one. Had 2 switcheasy cases which both cracked and an stm skinny in which the back flap stretched. Jeeze all i want is a case that works for more than a week without going broke lol.

Warped from the Sun?

Rdodge,

First, I have to say that I LOVE this case and it is perfect for me in every way. It has a very professional appearance and style which suits my business needs and can also be used as a stand when using it to entertain my kids. I was one of the early adopters, having ordered and received it in mid-April. I've had no problems with my case until this weekend and have recommended it to many friends/colleagues.

This weekend I was on vacation and spent a lot of time outside at the Hotel's pool. I used the iPad periodically but it generally stayed in my beach bag. Last night I noticed that the cover did not close properly and there was about 1/2 inch gap toward the top/right corner and a 1/4 inch gap on the bottom/right corner. There is a 1/4 inch gap near the clasp.:(

Could the case have warped from the sun/heat?

I assume that this is not covered by warranty (or maybe it is?) but is there anything that I could do so that it returns to normal? I actually already ordered a new one (this morning) from Amazon because that's how great I think the case is.

Thanks!
