no wonder its $10

the new ones they have at the apple store, is white inside and the inside is a softer better material and also it says on the packaging that it fits the Aluminum Macbook

lol... how the heck is the green inside affect the case? You don't look at the inside... unbelievable. and for $10 ??!?! It could've been PURPLE for all i care!!
I'm really curious how the new ones are different...

So you think the new ones have different dimensions?

I want one that fits correctly. I imagine this one is fine though, and if it isn't I'll use it for other gear.
 
Well I got mine

I'm not all that happy. Not the best fit. Some play on one side.

I don't think I like the feel or neoprene anyway.

Feels like sponge.

But there's not a lot of case options for this specific model

Maybe it's best cuz now i'm going to be leary of any 'fits Macbook' claims for a while.

P.S. I blame all of you for this :D

Unibody.

It's a great fit for $10 free shipping.

Update: I just went to the online Apple store and there was a few reviews about the newer (White lining) case and they said it didn't fit the unibody either.

Came in today in a really big box. :rolleyes:

I can confirm the lining on this one is green and is a bit bigger than the white lined one. I have the white one for my unibody macbook and it does give a little a the top. This green one gives even more...about an 3/4 inch.

this one luckily will be going to a plastic macbook...and the box to a family of squirrels or something...

I just got mine in the mail. I love the feel and it's padded really well. There is a little wiggle room, so I left that little Styrofoam sheet they added in there and it fits perfectly now. Overall a good puchase :D
 
Mine showed up today, also in a huge box. I got a free pack of silica gel too. :D

The squirrel comment was awesome... Mac users are SUCH nature lovers :)
 
got it today as well. surprised by the big box. I guess the protective case needed to be protected.
 
I ordered two in the same order and they came in two, separate boxes today. They were shipped at the same time. Oh Best Buy.
 
got mine today also, along with my new HP mini 1000. It was a very good day to see UPS pull up to my house!
 
Got mine and I gotta say that i didnt like it that much.... It is not that fitted, and there is space on top of it. I dont like it that much. But I guess I'll use it anyways.
 
Finally got mine today, after UPS screwed up this whole delivery...
I have to say, pictures don't do this case justice! The green goes very well wth the black!
It's got a very nice feel to it, good quality material, and i don't really mind the extra room at the top... I have a SUMO case for my main case, but this is much slimmer so it'll be of good use when i travel, etc...
IMO GREAT buy for $10
 
ya i just got mine is a great buy for 10 bucks

although im missing my silica gel packs.


hmmm maby not so much a good deal now.
