The one positive is that he definitely isn't a scalper. He's buying one for himself and says that he has been trying to get one online all week

I've got two Asian guys that say they are getting them for themselves, another guy (European?), two elderly Asians, and three Middle Eastern guys.

Security guy just told us that "They aren't doing lines anymore, it's a lottery system. So it doesn't matter where you sit, everyone will be taken care of."

He also said there was a bit of "jostling and scuffling" so they went to a lottery. He made it sound like you could show up at 9:00 AM and have the same chances.

I'm hoping that's a line to keep the natives happy and isn't true. Been here since 5:00 AM... =\

Security guard also told the crowd "The $900 phones are going for $1500 on eBay in China. You could make some money that way!"

Crazy.

I haven't had any luck either tracking down an iPhone 6 plus for t-mobile in NH. The day I walk in to the Apple Store "oh we're getting our shipment in tomorrow come back tomorrow." The next day I come in the employee tells me "oh we sold our stock yesterday sorry."

This is super frustrating to track down one of these argh.

Knox st Dallas had 128GB 6+ Space Gray ATT phone available for 30 mins around 3.10 AM this morning based on Aristokrats script.I had it set up for loud alarm and laptop was next to me but I don't think it made any noise.

I'm sorry it didn't work. What system are you running it on?

Different security guard asked me why I wanted an iPhone 6 because "they're crap". "They bend and break. Did you see the video?"

Idiot.

How do I use these scripts everyone is talking about? Bear in mind I'm completely computer illiterate. Anyone wanna help? Please PM me or something. Thanks guys!!

Just got the "Order is ready" e-mail... Picking it up later today.

Then comes the fun part, giving the iPhone 5S to my wife (she has a 4S right now).

No luck. I got to the store at 6:45. I was first in line. Store opens at 10, and Apple employee came out at 9 o'clock to take reservations. I wanted a Verizon 6+ space gray with 64 or 128 GB. They only had 1 6+ Verizon in stock and it was 128 GB gold.

In line at an apple store in OC, about number 7 in line-___-, and i should note half the people in line in front of me are going to be shipping them to china -____-

Just so everyone knows, our Apple store had LOTS of iPhone 6+ yesterday around 2 PM. They asked us which color (verizon) how many GB, etc.

We were offered two iPhone 6+ for Verizon @ 64GB.

They also had a lot for AT&T, as well.

Surprisingly, there was no line! ******Also, it showed up online as that particular store having NONE in stock. They can manipulate the system, apparently. So even if your store says they don't have any, it might be worth checking out.******

Has anyone been able to walk in Best Buy and buy a phone? Or is it just pre-orders only?

As far as I know, it's only pre-orders. We actually had to do this yesterday since the apple store doesn't do Verizon Edge (for new accounts), even though they had the phones we wanted. Boo.

----------

I find it hard to believe that none of the 20 stores near me get any new inventory for 6+ phones. Could this prove the theory that not all stores show their inventory online and instead save it for walk-in customers?

That's exactly what most do.

Best Buys are definitely selling to walk ins. They offered me a 6+ on Thursday night but it was gold so I passed.

Stocks are moving, cnotes !!!!

LOTS of stock showing up.

If you haven't set up an alert on the site, try to lookup your zipcode http://www.istocknow.com/us#apple_store

We're currently monitoring something like 200 Apple Stores

Phones get sold FAST :eek::eek:

Damn it.

I had one in my cart for Woodfield, and got to the very end just for it to be gone when I tried to complete the order.

Damn. It.

Also, iStockNow, my janky iPhone app caught it before the alert from your service. I never even got an alert from your service, in fact. You might want to dig a little deeper into the speed and reliability of those.

EDIT: Correction, I just got the alert. Just about 10 minutes too late to be useful.

We're doing random checks from the alerts, everything seems ok, but some phones seem to go away in a few seconds... especially in SF area.
